Band 7 IELTS Answer

The global internet popuatilon is seen in the line chart from 1995 to 2002. Over the past seven years, this figure has generally climbed. The number of Internet users increased from 26 million in 1995 to 61 million in 1996. Between 1999 and 2000, there was a rapid rise in the number of Internet users, which rose by 256 million, from 195 million to 451 million. Since then, the numbers have continually increased and reached a high of 580 million people in 2002.

The proportion of Internet users in six distinct regions of the world in 2003 is shown in the pie chart. The countries with the highest percentage of Internet users were the USA and Canada, which accounted for 53% of all users, while Europe had 24%. The Middle East and Africa had the lowest usage rate, accounting for just 1% of all users. The next lowest figure was 6% of users, all of whom were from South America. Less than 15% of users in Africa and the Pacific were affected.

Despite the fact that the popularity of the Internet has grown globally over the past eight years, the USA, Canada, and Europe accounted for the vast majority of Internet users in 2003.

Band 7.5 IELTS Answer

Between 1995 and 2002, there was an overall progressive rise in internet users. The United States, Canada, and Europe had the most internet users worldwide in 2003.

From 1995 to 1999, the growth in the chart was steady. Between 1999 and 2000, there was a sharp rise. After that, there was a gradual rise starting around 2000. Simply said, the modest growth took place between 1995 and 1996 and 1998 and 1999.

The United States, Canada, and Europe were the top internet users in 2003, according to chart 2. The Middle East and Africa accounted for 1% of all users, the lowest proportion of users. The next lowest number was 6% of users, who were all from South America. Less than 15% of people in Asia and the Pacific used it.

Intriguingly, there was a noticeable variation between the global user count in 1995 and 2002, which was nearly 22 times.

In conclusion, there was a progressive rise in internet users from 1995 to 2002. Europe, Canada, and the United States accounted for the vast majority of internet users in 2003.

With 26 million users, 1995 had the lowest number of online users. This number increased to about 200 million by 1999. The largest surge in users was seen between 2000 and 2002, when there were almost 600 million users overall.

In 2003, the USA and Canada accounted for around half of all internet usage worldwide. Asia/Pacific has 15% of the world's internet users, compared to Europe's 24%. Less than half of Asia/quantity Pacific's is in South America. And last, only 1% of all internet users worldwide are from Africa and the Middle East.

To sum up, more people are using the internet, which now has approximately 600 million users. In 2003, the majority of internet users were from the United States and Canada, whilst very few individuals used it in Africa and the Middle East.
