A century ago, a new office complex had taken the place of the Tuber Bros Cannery, which was surrounded by trees on two sides in 1920. There was a beach near the Almond River that had been destroyed to make room for the path for bikers. There were no facilities for residents to cross the river, but in 2020, a bridge was built that made it much easier for people to cross to the other side. Also the authorities decided to construct apartments instead of two houses. In 1920, there were the fewest stores on the other side of Oak Avenue, but in 2020, residents could relish a wider variety of shops along with their apartments. A Prestwich Primary School once stood in the district's southwest corner before moving to the southernmost point later. The gas station is located just above Miller's Lake. Engineers undoubtedly built their infrastructure, but they did so at the place where the neighborhood had their vegetation.

An office building now stands in place of the Canary that existed in 1920. Near the Elmwood River, two homes were demolished and replaced with a road and an apartment building. Following that, Oak Avenue has three homes, two shops, and two apartments. Previously it was just two homes and a shop. Later, a gas station was constructed close to the avenue as well. Additionally, the transformation of public services was less significant than that of commercial and residential real estate. Prestwich Primary School was shifted and then reconstructed as a larger institution nearer to the stores on Oak Street. In addition, the bike path that replaced the tiny beach scene on the 1920 map was added to the Elmwood River.
