Recruitment outcomes at Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, the institute commonly referred to as XLRI Jamshedpur, have moved in one direction across recent seasons: more offers, larger salaries and a wider recruiter base. Priced at INR 11 LPA, the PGDM programs return strong value once the average package, now past INR 24 LPA, is set against that investment. The most recent outgoing cohort was placed in full, and pay levels have risen with each successive year.
Take the 2021-23 batch as the reference point. 484 domestic offers plus 3 international ones went to 463 students, closing the final drive at 100%. ITES delivered the highest domestic salary of INR 78.2 LPA, while the HR domain produced the highest international salary of INR 1.1 CPA. Between 2022 and 2023 the average moved from INR 30.7 LPA to INR 32.7 LPA. Participation came from 117 recruiters, 30 of them arriving for the first time, and pre-placement offers accounted for 43.8% of the total. Mercedes Benz, Indigo Edge, Emaar Properties and Barclays were among the names on that list.
