MBA in International Business, the flagship course of IIFT is one of a kind MBA specialization being offered by IIFT alone with lots of focus on International Trade and Economics. The Faculty is some of the best in the country, especially in the fields of Trade, Economics, and Finance, and work or collaborate directly with the govt. ministries in policy making and other assignments. Student to Faculty ratio is decent with a good number of visiting faculty from repute organizations also visiting for Guest Lectures as well as for teaching electives. The course structure is good but a bit hectic in the first year especially the first trim. There are regular quizzes and mid-term & end-term exams. If one dedicates a decent amount of time to prepare, one can easily pass the exams.

Read Full ReviewI have an interest in International Business that's why I opt for MBA in IB from IIFT. Faculty members are well qualified. Institute also arranges guest lectures. Also, there is a feedback mechanism for faculties that has to be given by students.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen Finance and Marketing as my majors. Overall the faculties of these subjects are very experienced in the college. Being an international trade college requisite subjects in the field like International marketing and international finance are taught. Required relevant study materials and case studies are discussed at regular intervals. Exams are conducted such that they are application based rather than you mug up and put down answers. Also, we are provided with books from where we can study more about the subjects. The overall academic curriculum is very vast and excellent.
Read Full ReviewThe curriculum is well structured and gives us exposure to a lot of subjects that give us knowledge of the international business environment. Most of the faculty is well versed in the subjects. A few technical subjects don't have good faculties so a lot of improvement could be done thereby getting better faculties. The difficulty of exams is moderate and the supervision during the exams is strict as well.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is all right but one thing that I felt lacking overall was the lack of focus on updating examples and cases as per the times. Many of the courses also felt like an academic exercise with little attention given to their practical relevance. Some subjects and their professors do put in extra effort and it definitely shows.
