Read Full ReviewIIM Bangalore acknowledges and deeply encourages the confluence of business, society, and governance. Especially being from a humanities background, this was valuable for me. IIM Bangalore also houses the NS Raghavan Center of Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL), which is one of India's biggest start-up incubators, creating a strong culture and support for entrepreneurship. The courses are structured to be rooted in various teaching methodologies including cases, simulations, speaker series, theory, and projects. This makes the learning enriching and allows students to play to their strengths.

Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is very comprehensive and builds the foundations of management with subjects like Marketing, Operations, Organization Behaviour, Statistics, Economics, etc., during the first three terms. In the third term, we are also given the option to choose electives. The second year is completely elective-based and allows students to pursue courses of their interest. The faculty: student ratio is very high which allows students to easily have one on one interactions with the faculty. All faculty members are highly qualified and the admin is very particular about following the schedule for classes & exams.
Read Full ReviewThe peer learning and hectic schedule in the first year help to manage pressure effectively. Highly qualified and experienced faculty to solve every possible doubt a student may have. A term constituted of 3 months - 6 end terms and 6 mid-terms. Min 2.2 cgpa is required to pass a year.
Read Full ReviewThe course was holistic covering all facets of business, not sticking to general MBA courses, some courses like business ethics, and governance was included to get a broad perspective. electives in the first year are a good plus and there is no restriction on specialization. I can choose courses I wish in the second year, I can take a few from marketing few from finance, a few from analytics, and a few from public policy. we have a healthy student-to-faculty ratio and the quality of the faculty is top-notch. teaching methodology depends on the course, for some courses we have case-based learning which enhances our thinking perspective rather than having theory. exams happen every 5 weeks, though subjects are relatively easy compared with UG, question papers and the peer group make your life difficult.
