IIIT Naya Raipur is better than NIT Raipur, in terms of infrastructure, curriculum, and facilities. The institute follows a more subject-oriented curriculum in which unnecessary subjects aren’t included. You will study the core subjects from the first year itself. IIIT Naya Raipur has an active coding culture as well. 

The institute has had an impressive placement record over the last few years. According to IIIT Naya Raipur placements of 2021, the average and highest CTC offered were INR 20 LPA and INR 43 LPA, respectively.

Academics: IIIT Naya Raipur has a better-advanced curriculum. It is designed to prepare students for competitive examinations like GATE, CAT, etc.

Placements and Alumni:

• As IIIT Vadodara is a little older than IIIT Naya Raipur, they have a little bit of reach when it comes to placements and alumni.
• But IIIT Naya Raipur being a new establishment has also caught the attention of many top recruiting companies.

Coding Culture: Both are equal here. Guidance is not provided by the colleges. Students take the initiative to build themselves up.

Lastly, It is suggested that if you are interested in coding and placement, you can opt for IIIT Vadodara. But for overall learning and development, you can choose IIIT Naya Raipur.

1. Growth: Their laboratory infrastructure is well-furnished and provides all the basic facilities to the students, including high-speed internet. The campus is very peaceful and safe. All research projects, workshops, E-cells events and seminars are continuously conducted here. These help this institute to grow quite rapidly.
2. Placement: My friend once told me that one of his seniors had secured AIR 11 in GATE; however, he is now pursuing M.Tech studies at Cornell. The achievements of the student’s project have a growing prospect for this institute. As it is guided by IIIT Hyderabad, the median salary is higher than the other institutes of India.

3. Atmosphere:There is a quota for the students who come from Chhattisgarh; besides, there is also an NTPC quota. Telugu state students bond with the Telugu squad. Thus, there is a huge diversity in the student’s background.
4. Faculty: Director of this institute has a Doctoral Degree (PhD) from Tokyo University. One of the professors, Mr Ramakrishna Bandi, achieved a PhD from IIT Roorkee and followed Post-Doc from IIT Bombay.
5. Food: Mess foods here are homelier than the other institutes. It is less oily. However, the good thing is that the mess committee takes the student’s opinion and tries to make food as per their preferences. Thereby, a student can try to be the mess committee member, but it is not compulsory at all; they can be on the side with someone who is already the member.
6. Hostel: Hostels here are cleared every day. Students will get a room with a bed, a cupboard, mattress, a desk, a chair, along with all the necessary stuff. Students have to pay meagre maintenance fees for their hostel accommodation. The hostel staff are amicable and provide low-rate laundry services to the students, but the students can also pay to use the washing machines at the shopping complex. 

So, it is suggested that you go for IIIT Naya Raipur, because it will provide you with all the necessities required for a student in their daily life.
