Ques

Which one is better: IIT Tirupati or IIT Bhilai?

● Top Answer By Raunak Srivastav on 26 Mar 21

Ans
Most of the newly constructed IITs suffer from the same problems compared to the old ones. They include lack of infrastructure, unchartered territory, etc. If you have to choose, go by branch and not by the IIT brand name. You can opt for other colleges like BITS Pilani, NIT Trichy/Warangal as they will provide much better opportunities, considering placements. Categories IIT Tirupati IIT Bhilai Course Fee 8.27 lakh 10.13 lakh Placement Percentage 60% 90% Highest CTC 11 LPA 19 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA 10 LPA Recruiting Companies Tesco, Factset, Bosch, Futures First, L&T, etc. Amazon, L&T, UIDAI, OYO, RadiSys, GSTN, Atonarp, Xenia, etc. If you want to study CSE among these two top colleges, it won't require comparison. Both are doing well and have equally good placements, average packages, and campus life. So, for other branches, IIT Bhilai will be a good choice because practicals and research work are better at IIT Bhilai.

What should I choose for electrical engineering, IIT Jodhpur or IIT Tirupati?

● Top Answer By Gargi Banerjee on 17 Jun 21

Ans
Both IIT Jodhpur and IIT Tirupati are reputed institutes. However, IIT Jodhpur is a second-generation IIT whereas IIT Tirupati is a third-generation IIT and has a long way to go to be at par with IIT Jodhpur. Based on what I heard from my friends at IIT Jodhpur, I can say it has a terrific campus. It is the first fully planned technical campus with unique Incubation and Technology Park. IIT Jodhpur is making good advances in its placement and research work. Students at the institute get placed in core and non-core companies. Many alumni of the institute are also pursuing their studies in foreign universities. Here are some recent statistics regarding the two institutes. Institute IIT Jodhpur IIT Tirupati Average CTC 16.73 LPA 11 LPA Top recruiters Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc. TCS, Fincare, TESCO, MathWorks, etc. If you have to choose between two IITs that are not old, it’s wise to choose the campus which is more developed and older. Outline your evaluation by comparing the faculty and research activities of both the IITs. Refer to your seniors there and friends to gain better knowledge. Hope this helps you in making a decision.
