Ans. Due to limited availability of accommodation, the institute does not guarantee any accommodation facilities to the accompanying guardians during their initial visit for orientation in the BITS Pilani campus. Ans. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for PG does not guarantee that the applicant will be shortlisted for an interview. Departments may set specific admission criteria for shortlisting over and above the minimum eligibility criteria.
Ques. Does the candidate is eligible to apply for a part-time Ph.D. program, if he/she is not able to get NOC for the university due to lockdown?
Ans. Yes, the candidate is eligible to apply for the part-time Ph.D. program. He/ She can upload a self-declaration form (format available in Annexure B of Ph.D.guidelines) in place of the No Objection Certificate (NOC), before the final submission of the application form. The candidate will have to provide the NOC at the time of the admission test.
Ques. If a candidate has obtained 74.6% marks in PCM aggregate, is he eligible for BE at Bits Pilani 2021?
Ans. As per BITS Pilani, the candidate has to secure a minimum of 75% marks in PCM to be eligible for engineering.
