A Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) provides input to help keep the curriculum streamlined. Students are recruited by top-tier companies. The placement record is outstanding.
Practical learning is prioritized. Those on the other side of the table who prefer extracurricular activities will find a plethora of sports and cultural opportunities and events at CU. Scholarships are available in a variety of categories. Every university is exceptional in its own right. And being the best does not preclude it from having flaws or drawbacks. CU is excellent in its own right. Campus and hostel security is excellent.
During campus hours, you must wear your ID card. If you are interested, you can participate in a variety of events, sports, and other activities. You have a lot more options there.
Yes, Chandigarh University is a good option for pursuing an MBA. It changes minimal course fees. Chandigarh University MBA fees are around INR 4.34 Lakhs. I am here to give you a very honest opinion based on my brother's experience at Chandigarh University. The university does everything but imparts good quality education and is more like a money-making machine. The points below will clarify my point further
No doubt, the college has a lot of companies coming for placements but the scenario for that isn’t very different. So, I will recommend you to go for any other engineering college after proper research.
If you have a handful of tier-3 private universities and less recognized government colleges in your choice list and you don't want to waste a year, joining Chandigarh University can be the best shot you have got. When you join Chandigarh University, you must be ready to learn yourself because you won't be learning much in the majority of lectures, but you need to study yourself to be proficient in anything.
Here are some of the pros and cons of joining Chandigarh University:

Cons:
Among the above two institutes, Chandigarh University is definitely a better choice, considering the excellent campus placement offered in the institute, which is at an unbeatable level for the last few years. Here is why you should choose CU.
Chandigarh University is a much better choice than Rayat Bahra University, having excellent facilities inside the campus and an outstanding placement in almost all departments.
The reasons for selecting Chandigarh University are self-explanatory:
Regarding infrastructure and facilities, Chandigarh University's average cannot be compared with LPU, SRM, or any other big university. However, in terms of placements, CGC brings great happiness. The placement opportunities at CGC are pretty good, especially for software engineering. Many reputed companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Dell, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., visit the campus for recruitment.
CGC is growing very fast and is becoming the number-one university in the northern region for software engineering. However, the number of students per stream is around 1400, which is quite a large number, making competition challenging. The teachers in the first year may need improvement, but after you go to your core branch in the second year, the staff is well experienced and quite good.
CGC conducts various competitive fests and workshops. Additionally, they provide international internships with foreign universities in the USA, Canada, and more. CGC has also started the TPP program, which teaches students aptitude, C, C++, and communication skills, preparing them for technical interviews during placements.
Overall, CGC is a good college, but attendance is a major issue. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to give the examination. Even if you get 74.4%, you will not be able to give your final exams. In case, you're thinking of doing B. Tech from Chandigarh, you should first give preference to Thapar, CCET, and PEC.
If you're looking for a prestigious university in North India, consider Chitkara University. Here are some reasons why:
In conclusion, if you're looking for a prestigious university that offers excellent educational opportunities and prepares you for a successful career, consider Chitkara University.
Although CGC Landran started first, the MBA program at Chandigarh University is unmatched. The University School of Business at CU offers great international exposure, which is a major advantage for anyone studying here.
The university provides opportunities for an international semester exchange, a semester abroad, and frequent interaction with international experts. The MBA program at CU also hosts international faculty from institutions of great repute to deliver sessions and international university add-on courses for the students.
Some recent sessions included an international expert session on Statistical Models for correlated non-stationary count response data by Dr. Vandana Jowaheer from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Mauritius, Reduit, Mauritius. The students also attended international expert sessions on Applied Research by Professor (Dr.) Prem Chhetri from RMIT University, Australia, where discussed the depth of knowledge about the supply chain, which starts from the producer and ends up with the customer.
Moreover, the students attended international expert sessions on Strategy to Gain Competitive Advantage by Dr. Ching-Pu-Chen, CGO, Global Affairs Office, Yuan Ze University, where he talked about how companies are incorporating values and culture in the organization to gain a competitive advantage in the market. Such expert sessions enrich the students with the latest updates regarding entrepreneurial and job opportunities in the market, as well as the needs of the industry.
