The professors are at PhD level and they teach quite well they always help you to grow to achieve your aim. Exams are on time and if you have attended the class and studied well then it possible to get good marks but if have not studied well and smartly then it is quite difficult to get good marks and it is possible that you can be eligible for back exams and pass the exams

Scholarships are available in a variety of categories. Every university is exceptional in its own right. And being the best does not preclude it from having flaws or drawbacks. CU is excellent in its own right. Campus and hostel security is excellent. During campus hours, you must wear your ID card. Ques
Should I join Chandigarh University? Is it good?

● Top Answer By Ankit Singh on 24 Mar 23

Ans
If you have a handful of tier-3 private universities and less recognized government colleges in your choice list and you don't want to waste a year, joining Chandigarh University can be the best shot you have got. When you join Chandigarh University, you must be ready to learn yourself because you won't be learning much in the majority of lectures, but you need to study yourself to be proficient in anything. Here are some of the pros and cons of joining Chandigarh University: Pros: No Raging at all, which is great because you can focus on your studies without being disturbed by bullies. Excellent placements: The university brings top product-based companies like Google, Informatica, Amazon American Express, Code Nation, Walmart, Nutanix, JusPay, and many others companies to the campus for placements. Support for NCC and sports activities: If you are good at sports, the university will support you and give you attendance, even scholarships for you to play and represent them. The fees here are comparatively less and they offer many scholarships to the students too. Good foreign exchange programs: You can meet a lot of international students on campus, and you can also go to other international universities for semester exchange if you are interested. Placement starts as early as the end of the 6th semester for CSE students. Close to the mountains: A three-hour drive can take you to Shimla, Manali, Triund, Rishikesh and all other beautiful spots are nearby, so in case you want to travel and you like mountains, you can make the best of your college life on weekends. The college campus is huge with many facilities, including a stadium and a Dominos outlet, so you don't need to step out of the campus. If a new movie is about to release, you should expect the star cast of that movie to appear on the campus for promotion. It is crazy; everyone has been here. Cons: Lots of students: There are 2500+ students in CSE, which means competition is tough, but this is also beneficial as you can score well and there are many more opportunities that are made available. Strict School-like rules: Girls are locked in the girl's hostel, and they are not allowed beyond 8 p.m. outside their hostel, which is not ideal. Hostel food: Just like every other college, you may start hating the food after two months of joining. Attendance: You have to maintain 75% attendance like other colleges, but you can get away by participating in multiple contests and other activities, which will give you duty leaves that add up to the attendance. ID Card: You have to wear an ID card, or else the chancellor might catch you and scold you, and some guards may check you for ID cards as if you are carrying explosives in your bag. Lots of guys: Although there are many girls on campus, there are also a lot of guys, which means competition is high. Young teachers: Some of the teachers are young and teach first-year students, but after the first year, you get experienced and much-reputed professors. However, having young teachers helps you connect with them more, and you may have many teachers as friends. Forced participation: If there is an event and they don't have enough participation, they might chase you and bring you from hostels, which can be fun. Uniform on Wednesdays: You have to wear a uniform on Wednesdays, or else you may be fined or not allowed in the classes.

Which is better: Rayat-Bahra University Mohali or Chandigarh University?

● Top Answer By Ankit Singh on 15 Jul 21

Ans
Among the above two institutes, Chandigarh University is definitely a better choice, considering the excellent campus placement offered in the institute, which is at an unbeatable level for the last few years. Here is why you should choose CU. Chandigarh University offers excellent facilities like experienced faculties, excellent staff, tech fests, cultural fests, anti-ragging campus, expert lectures, workshops, etc. The management of Chandigarh University is quite friendly and cooperative. CU even holds Limca Book world record for best placements. The curriculum is balanced, industry-specific. They conduct seminars, workshops, hotel events, inter-department competitions, industrial visits regularly. Ques
Which university is better for law, Chandigarh University or Rayat Bahra University?

● Top Answer By Madhav Aneja on 24 Jan 23

Ans
The most suitable option is Chandigarh University. The reasons for selecting Chandigarh University are self-explanatory: CU is the newest and fastest-growing NAAC-accredited A+ university. The Limca Book world record for best placements is held by CU. A well-balanced, industry-specific curriculum. Seminars, guest lectures, workshops, hostel events, inter-departmental competitions, star nights, industrial visits, and many other activities are held on a regular basis. Various clubs for students to develop their skills. Urdu societies, poetry societies, music clubs, dance clubs, photography clubs, and so on. Chandigarh University is one of the top educational institutions in North India. By reputed national and international accreditation bodies and media houses, CU is consistently ranked among the top institutions in Punjab for academic excellence, innovative pedagogy, research, and placements.

Ques
I was willing to join Chandigarh University to do my BE (CSE). How good are the placements for CSE students and the chances of getting placed?

● Top Answer By Madhav Aneja on 07 Mar 23

Ans
Regarding infrastructure and facilities, Chandigarh University's average cannot be compared with LPU, SRM, or any other big university. However, in terms of placements, CGC brings great happiness. The placement opportunities at CGC are pretty good, especially for software engineering. Many reputed companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Dell, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. CGC is growing very fast and is becoming the number-one university in the northern region for software engineering. However, the number of students per stream is around 1400, which is quite a large number, making competition challenging. The teachers in the first year may need improvement, but after you go to your core branch in the second year, the staff is well experienced and quite good. CGC conducts various competitive fests and workshops. Additionally, they provide international internships with foreign universities in the USA, Canada, and more. CGC has also started the TPP program, which teaches students aptitude, C, C++, and communication skills, preparing them for technical interviews during placements. Overall, CGC is a good college, but attendance is a major issue. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to give the examination. Even if you get 74.4%, you will not be able to give your final exams. In case, you're thinking of doing B. Tech from Chandigarh, you should first give preference to Thapar, CCET, and PEC.

Ques
Which is better for MBA - Chandigarh University or CGC Landran?

● Top Answer By Raja Yaduvanshi on 07 Mar 23

Ans
Although CGC Landran started first, the MBA program at Chandigarh University is unmatched. The University School of Business at CU offers great international exposure, which is a major advantage for anyone studying here. The university provides opportunities for an international semester exchange, a semester abroad, and frequent interaction with international experts. The MBA program at CU also hosts international faculty from institutions of great repute to deliver sessions and international university add-on courses for the students. Some recent sessions included an international expert session on Statistical Models for correlated non-stationary count response data by Dr. Vandana Jowaheer from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Mauritius, Reduit, Mauritius.
