Important Notes:
- Boarding (mess) charges will be Rs15,000/- to Rs22,000/- per Trimester.
- PGP students would be provided accommodation on twin sharing basis in the 1st year.
- Caution Deposit (one time) is to be paid separately at the time of Registration.
- The amount of Rs1,00,000/- deposited while accepting the offer of Admission will be adjusted against the 1st term fees.
- The term-wise amount indicated above is payable at the beginning of each term.
Tuition Fee and payment schedule
After receiving provisional admission, the student should get the student VISA and complete all other requirements including fee payment. Students should report at the Institute for registration on July 1, 2024. Subsequently, the candidate needs to pay the requisite fee as per the following schedule in Indian Rupees, based on the prevailing exchange rate in the RBI website on the day of payment. The amount shown in US$ is equivalent to one.

Eligibility Criteria
Indian Students
- Students must have passed bachelor’s degree with 50% in any relevant discipline. There is a 5% relaxation for students from SC or ST category.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply.
Foreign Students:
- Applicants must have a relevant undegreaguate degree with a CGPA equivalent to 50% on a scale of 10 points.
- Non- English background students must have a TOEFL score to apply for admission.
Selection Criteria
Indian Students
The admission is a three stage process which includes the following levels of evaluations:
STAGE I: Personal Interview Shortlisting Round
Students are selected based on their CAT scores to appear for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). CAT exams’ sectional cut off and overall percentile are taken into consideration for shortlisting students. The table below shows minimum cut-offs of CAT-2022 Percentile for respective categories to be called for the next stage:

STAGE II: Final Selection Round
There are three major categories where students are marked to make it to the final merit list. The total weightage is 100% but it is divided into different sections. Broadly the category wise weightage is elaborated below:

Academic Profile Weightage
The weightage for class XII and graduation are evaluated by IIM Raipur upon receiving the respective mark sheets. Read on about the weightage:

Work Experience Weightage
Applicants applying to IIM Raipur will be awarded an extra weightage with a relevant work experience. Scores will be awarded depending upon the proof of experience and completion of the proposed time (months). A brief outline of the work experience scores are:
- >3 to 12 months: 1 marks
- >12 to 18 months: 3 marks
- >18 to 24 months: 6 marks
- >24 to 30 months: 9 marks
- >30 to 36 months: 6 marks
- >36 to 42 months: 3 marks
- >42 to 48 months: 1 marks
STAGE III: Offer Acceptance
For a limited time the IIM Raipur portal would be opened for students to submit the admission fee of INR 1,00,000. This is basically a confirmation and acceptance of the admission seat at IIM Raipur. But those who would like to withdraw will be refunded a fee of INR 1000 before registration dates.
Foreign Students
- Students must have a valid score in GMAT of 650 or above.
- They must hold a relevant and justifiable passport.
- Students must have a TOEFL certificate (if required). With an IBT score of 80 an PBT score of 520.
- Upon application submission and thorough evaluation an interview will be conducted through video conferencing.
Admission Process
Applications for foreign students can be downloaded from the official website The application packet must include copies of the following documents::
- Completed Application Form
- A copy of the latest GMAT scores duly attested (original to be verified at the time of admission, if selected)
- TOEFL scores (if applicable)
- 3 LORs from competent authority (Teacher/Employer).
- Statement of Purpose (SoP)
- Attested photocopy of Passport
- Mark sheets of Bachelor Degree and Qualifying Degree Certificate
- Provisional admission letter from the Admissions Office, in order to obtain the VISA. Letter.
Students must report to the institution for admission with the following documents (original along with an attested photocopy):
- Degree / Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination (like SSC, HSC and Bachelor’s Degree).
- Mark sheets of qualifying examinations
- Original visa of the applicant
- Photocopy of the passport.
- Equivalence and eligibility certificate from AIU (if applicable).
- Duly filled and signed declaration forms
- 4 recent passport size photographs
