IIMs offer PGPM courses for MBA, earlier it was PGDM but after 2017 every IIM started offering PGPM and you will be awarded an MBA General Management degree after 2years of successful completion. For entire PG courses Faculty,: student ratio is around 1:13, which is good. And Faculties are permanently offering Ph.D. courses in their domain. Apart from this, you will be exposed to a rich Guest faculty list from foreign universities and old IIMs. Every faculty is a Ph.D. holder in their domain from top colleges and India and also some are from foreign universities, They have also industry experience in their domain and are also associated with various consulting projects. Some faculties are editorial writers in National financial newspapers. There will be a total of 6 terms duration varying from 2.5 to 3 months. Almost every week you will be writing an examination. Your evaluation will not be based on a single exam, during the entire term, you will be evaluated.

So, I thought pursuing an MBA would help me fulfil this dream, and I found IIM Trichy as the best option. The faculty: student ratio is around 1:10. The faculty are highly qualified and they have completed their Doctorate programs from either IITs or IIMs. The teaching methodology is case-based. All the concepts will be taught to the students through case discussions.

The number of faculty on the campus is 43 and the number of students intake is 410. This makes the faculty: student ratio 1:10 approximately. The faculty are very qualified with doctorates from esteemed IIMs and IITs. The course curriculum is case-based and the faculty teaches the concepts through various case discussions. The exams are always conducted on time and they are comparatively very difficult to pass.

The faculty are extremely qualified and all of them have completed their PhDs. Most of them have done their doctorate programs from IIMs and IITs. The teaching method is case-based and all the concepts will be explained using cases. The exams were very timely and the evaluation was very strict.
Read Full ReviewMy course is a Post Graduate Program in Management Program (general). I wanted to have an understanding of all the fields and therefore I went for a General Program. The faculty in the college are highly experienced and qualified in their respective fields. The materials provided by them are exceptionally good. The faculty is extremely helpful and they guide you as and when required. The year is divided into 3 terms of almost 3 months. In each term, there is one mid and one end-term exam conducted. Other than that, students also have quizzes, projects and assignments as part of the marks component.

The number of faculty currently in the college is around 43 and the intake of students is 410 per year. This makes the faculty: students ratio 1:10. The courses in the first year are usually considered core courses and are mandatory for all the students. In the second year, students can pick the electives of their choice and pursue a specialization. The exams are under the control of the PGPM office and they always conduct the exams as per the schedule, the evaluation and the exam papers are very strict.

The teaching pedagogy is case-based and the students are provided with pre-reads before each class. One has to go through the pre-reads before coming to the class and discussions on the case happen in the classes. The exams are usually conducted as per the schedule and the question paper and evaluation are very difficult.

The electives in the second year are offered from various domains ranging from marketing, strategy, finance, general management etc.
