Course curriulum is quite hectic as, in IMT, the trimester goes on means 6 semesters in 2 years. The faculty is quite impressive as majority of them have working experience in big MNCs and top companies. Every faculty has a unique way of teaching to their stduent. some of them were quite impressive in their way of teaching but some were old school. Exams use to happe in every 3 months and in MBA, exams are very easy to crack till the time you understand what actually question demands.
Read Full ReviewThere are six trimesters out of which the first two is common for all streams after which we have to choose our own major specialization from operations, finance, marketing and Human Resource and do courses according to those and other choices for the minor specialization.
Read Full ReviewI was selected for PGDM core which is the flagship course offered at IMT Ghaziabad. I believe IMT was the best call that I had at the time, other converts were from baby IIMs and other institutes. Faculties are extremely helpful and highly qualified. Coming to exams, if one pays attention in class, it's easy to pass most of the subjects.
Read Full ReviewIMT is known for its finance faculty. We have great professors like Prof. Harsimran Sandhu and Prof. Arit Chaudhary who bring out the best in the students . I have been very lucky to be exposed to professors who have been a delight to study under. The professors are industry professionals from companies like HSBC, Zydus, Standard Chartered, HUL . Most of our professors are PhDs and those who aren't are from the Industry. There are 6 terms. It is not hard to pass but needs a lot of hard work. I got more than 9 GPA in the 1st term but I had to pull all-nighters. It depends on the person and what they prioritize. People who are very active in their clubs also get great jobs and can get better packages than high rankers. It all depends on how we carry ourselves and how much we wish to learn. IMT helps you grow as an Individual.
Read Full ReviewI am always interested in Marketing and to grow a career in Marketing, you need exposure to the best faculties, all-India competitions, huge alumni reach, a diverse batch etc. IMT has all these facilities and IMT is known as MECCA OF MARKETING in India. 60:1-students:faculty Faculties are very well experienced and knowledgeable. Other than that they are industry experts and use real-life case-based methods for teaching which is the main speciality of IMT. Exams happen every 2-3 months. If one listens to professors and attends classes regularly then it is easy to score well.
Read Full ReviewThe course is the best that any B-school can offer, with systems from all domains in the first two terms to give a strong foundation for budding managers; the first month of the course is Foundation term, where the basics of each subject are brushed upon to bring all students to the same level. The faculty-to-student ratio is reasonable at about 1:60. Since IMT is AACSB accredited, the curriculum and subjects are rigorously updated to keep up with industry requirements. This enables the students to be good performers in whatever company they join. The faculty is highly qualified and is a mix of industry experts who have been working for many years in different industries and professors who have been teaching since their PHDs. The exams are timed accurately with no gap to have any relaxation; the whole academic routine is designed to keep the students busy with different activities throughout the two years and the exams are moderate owing to students if they study enough, they are sure.
Read Full ReviewThe Course curriculum is rich in case studies making the learning an all-around improvement. The group projects are done by dividing the class into smaller groups of 7 students called APO groups, and each group has two girls min making the gender diversity rich. The student-faculty ratio is 80:1 The Term exams were conducted offline, and the time was 90 minutes. I passed the exams with ease as I paid attention in class.
Read Full ReviewThe reason I chose this course is that after my job in a technical background, I realized that I was not feeling content enough. Hence, after some exploring, I realized that I am inclined toward marketing. Also, IMT is famous for marketing. The student-faculty ratio currently is 60:1. The faculty is a combination of multiple backgrounds and diverse knowledge in terms of education and corporate experience. They are almost at par with the prestigious B-schools in India. They employ various methods to facilitate classroom learning. The exams, they are conducted according to the schedule given at the beginning of the session and since final exams are given only 40% weightage, it is not very difficult to pass, unless of course, you don't do anything.
Read Full ReviewSince IMT G is regarded as the mecca of marketing, I had an interest in it and decided to pursue it even before I enrolled in this college. We have world-class faculty and a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:15, so it makes sense that we would have a good mix of faculty and students to allay our concerns, both academic and otherwise. Most of the faculty have advanced degrees in business, such as an MBA from a prestigious IIM or a Ph.D. in a business-related field, so they are all knowledgeable in whatever subject they teach. and in addition to that, they have rich professional experience that enables them to give us accurate insights on any given subject.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is very intensive, it covers all the basic fundamentals of business to ensure people coming from varied fields get a good understanding of business concepts. The faculty base has a good balance of research as well as industry professionals.
