NSUT, all the placements in college in 4th years are done on campus, last year a group of CSE had taken a package of 1.6crs, and this year the highest placement was 39.9 lakhs in the Mechanical branch. If campus placement is not by chance, then students become so capable that they do some work on their own, like startup, etc.
The admission process was very simple, first I filled out the JAC Delhi form online, and after allotment of the seat, I went to the college and got the document verification done, after that, my seat was confirmed. I qualified jee main exam and was admitted in nsut, and I was from obc category, so I got a mechanical branch at a low CRL rank.
Read Full ReviewPlacement is decent. Average package including all branches is about 12lpa and avg package of tech branches is between 16-18 lpa and talking about core placement which is not so much good but ya it can definitely provide you a employement with a decent package of around 8-9 lpa
I have given jee mains and get a valid score card.After that i filled the form of jac delhi councelling body which offers admission in my college . There is a state quota of 85percent for those who qualified their 12th from delhi and 15 percent for the outsiders
Read Full ReviewI wanted to pursue my career in tech and thats why i have decided to take admission in this college .Student faculty ratio is around 1:18 .Faculties are well qualified but their teaching is avg or below avg.level of exam is medium to though and there is very less time between any two exams.
You have to give jee main examination to get admission in this college . This is a tier 1 college ,so to get admission you must do well in jee main .there is 85 percent reservation for delhi candidates and 15 percent for outside delhi candidates . After jee main you have to register for jac counselling and there by you will manage to get admission. All types of caste and category based reservation are available in this college.according to me verification of documents must be done online for outside delhi candidates.

Faculty qualification is great but teach quality is avg or below avg.they conduct exam timely and smoothly difficulty level is above avg.
You have to give jee main entrance examination to do b.tech in nsut . Based on your score you will get branch in this college .jac delhi conducts the counseling for this college.its application fees is around 1000rs but you have to pay 95000 rs after you get seat as a deposit. You can get refund if you didn't choose any college .It is conducted generally in June or July with josaa . All kind of reservation are accepted in This institute . Admission process is smoother but they can do documents verification online and can reduce seat acceptance fees.
Read Full ReviewFrom the 7th semester, we are eligible for in-campus placements. All multinational companies like, Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Infosys, Tata Consultancy, and all other companies. Highest 1.25 CPA, Lowest 5 LPA. The college provides much support for start-ups too.
I entered this college through jee mains only. You can find everything about the application on JEE Mains's official website. I got admission through the EWS category. Reservation benefits inside Delhi>outside Delhi, ST>SC>OBC>EWS>GN. The scenario has been changed, the Category criteria should be removed for admission benefits.
Read Full ReviewOver-placements are very good. Our college is known by our placements. I dont know the semester in which companies come. In the fourth year, various companies visit colleges to find talented and hardworking students. About 90 % of our students are placed in good companies. I dont know about offers but college companies like Google Infosys tcs Microsoft Adobe, and Flipkart intel have visited colleges regularly in recent years. The average package is 16 lakhs in 2023 The highest package is about 1.2 crore to 1.5 crore international. The highest domestic package was about 55 lakhs in 2023
I got admitted to NSUT(Delhi) with the CSAI Branch. The eligibility of my course is simply (10 +12 pass Jee mains with very good rank). The rank should be below 8000 for general candidates. As I am an OBC applicant I got admission with my (14022) rank. You can find the application form on the JEE MAINS website. The fee for the form is 1000 for general candidates. After getting a good rank in JEE MAINS you can apply for JAC DELHI Counselling. I think that the Jac Delhi counselling process is a little complicate. The first and foremost thing you should do after getting a good jee rank is to make perfect documents reservation certificate address proof 10 12 marksheet.In my counselling, I have seen a lot of students who got a good Jee rank but dont get admission to college because of failed document verification. As I am an OBC candidate I would like to share very important things for obc candidates. The Jac Delhi colleges only accept DELHI OBC NCL which is issued by DELHI NCT. Read Full ReviewI chose physics as my interest lies in studies of physics as for the faculty there are 2 campuses for NSUT so there are a lot of faculties each class has a fair gender ratio and faculties are highly qualified in NSUT they take a mid-semester exams and an end semester exam an internal assessment between these exams.
For Netaji Subhash University of Technology, I took an entrance exam for a master's degree for which the application form can be found on their website the application cost was 1500 rupees and the exam was held in August.

The faculty is well educated in their respective field clearing different competitive exams, and have completed doctorates from abroad universities. The exams are conducted timely as provided in the semester chart and moderate to pass.
Eligibility- graduate from an authorized University with a percentage above 60. The university prepares a brochure with all the related application forms. The fees are paid after the verification in the computer center of the University or in an online mode.

Placement for the 2022 batch was phenomenal with 19 lakhs average package and the highest package going up to crores. More than 300 companies visit the college for on-campus placement students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th sem. About 90 percent of students get placed in college.
The admission process in our college is through the jee mains as it is a government engineering college. The admission process is quite competitive as students need to score a high percentile in the jee mains exam for admission. The application forms are released by NTA and the exam takes place twice a year in January and April. Reservation of SC, ST, OBC, AND EWS is there just like any other government college.

Among these NSIT is better in terms of placements. DTU placements are good as well. But due to a lower batch size, the competition is lower at NSIT. Here are the highlights of NSIT placements 2022.

The recruiting companies are similar for NSIT and DTU. NIT Delhi ranks lower than these institutes in terms of placements.
BITS Goa is better than DTU and NSIT. Since the introduction of the home state quota, the quality of the student crowd has drooped down at these institutes. Due to the no reservation rule, BITS has a better peer group. Top NITs such as NIT T, NIT W, and NIT K are comparably better than BITS, but the difference margin is decreasing.
BITS Goa placements have been good, even during COVID. During 2021 placement drive, the average CTC offered was INR 16 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 43.3 LPA. Some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive are Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Flipkart, etc.
You should consider DTU or NSIT CSE. Both are good options and almost at par with each other. DTU and NSIT have great coding cultures and good placement records for the CSE branch. DTU CSE average package is around INR 10-15 LPA. While for NSIT CSE, the average package is around INR 12-15 LPA.
Delhi houses many industries. So, it’s easier for students to get good placements and internship opportunities. You can also prepare for competitive examinations such as CAT, GRE, GMAT, etc. Delhi has many good coaching institutes.
NSIT has better placement statistics and the maximum package offered to an on-campus placed student than IIIT-A, but you (as an IT student at NSIT) will be sitting with CE students for placements, which is the more well-known branch of the two.
- However, when comparing the IT departments of the two colleges, IIIT-A was created as a centre of excellence in the field of IT and is well-known for its curriculum.
- The disciplines taught here are also part of the curriculum of several prestigious universities around the country.
- In terms of your interests, if you're interested in coding, IIIT-A is the place to go.

To summarise, if you have an interest in coding and want to be a part of one of the top coding cultures in the country, you should enroll in IIIT-A. But if your priority is to be close to home, and you believe you can outperform CE students on final placements, then NSIT is the place to be.
DTU and NSIT are the best options among these, with great placement records and academics. These are counted among the top-tier technological institutes in the country. The type of exposure you will get at these institutes will not only help in performing well in academics but also help develop confidence. DTU placements 2022 shows the average CTC to be around INR 15.31 LPA. According to NSIT placement highlights of recent years, the median CTC offered is around INR 13 LPA.
SRM, and Manipal don’t belong to the same tier as DTU and NSIT.

- Placement: The placement record of the COE branch is very good. That makes the cut-offs high. Also, the culture of coding in NSIT is pretty serious. You will be every second student doing the coding.
- Opportunities: There are various institutes in Delhi for CAT/GRE/GATE, that will help you in clearing these exams. Also, there are various coding institutes like Blocks, Coding Ninja, Pepcoding, etc. These will help you polish your skills, and help you secure good packages.
- Near to Home: You can also enjoy your hostel life and home life. During exam days, you can visit home to concentrate on your studies.
Therefore, if you are thinking of joining the Netaji Subhas University of Technology then go for it. As there are several advantages of joining the NSIT COE branch. Also, in the long run, your skills matter, not from which college you have studied.
DTU, NSIT, and IIIT Delhi all three of these institutes have their advantages.
- NSIT is best in terms of placements. Especially for branches like CSE, or IT, students receive cushy salary packages. The placement numbers in IIIT Delhi are comparably better than DTU due to less number of students.
- IIIT Delhi will be the best option if you are planning on pursuing research or doing an MS in the USA after completing your B.Tech. Every year almost 15-20% of students from IIIT Delhi join top institutes across the globe for higher studies. Faculties of IIIT Delhi well-reputed. Their recommendation will help you get good institutes for higher studies.
- If you want to pursue MBA after your graduation, you should choose DTU for graduation. It has a lesser academic load. So, you will get enough time to prepare for competitive examinations like CAT, GMAT, etc.
- DTU and IIIT Delhi both have active start-up cultures. Both campuses organize start-up events and hackathons regularly. They also have active E-cells to support budding entrepreneurs. IIIT Delhi also set up an Innovation and Incubation center. You will get to see many successful startups in the coming years.
You should choose one of these three institutes based on your preference and career goals.
Since you have not mentioned any particular branch, I assume that you are getting to choose from all the branches at both institutions. Both the colleges have their own pros and cons.
Being a student of NIT Surathkal, my brother has often talked about its greatness.
Campus:
- NIT Surathkal has a big campus spread across 300 acres of land. There is a private beach, gym, swimming pool, and everything that you need for recreation.
- There is a high-speed WiFi facility as well.
- There are separate departments for all the major and minor subjects.
- The campus of NSIT Delhi is not as big as the campus of NIT Surathkal and is spread across 150-200 acres of land. It has a lush green campus which is aesthetic along with wide roads.
Academics:
- NIT Surathkal is strict when it comes to academics. Along with your GPA, your projects will also be given equal importance.
- In both colleges, you can freely do your project in any domain.
Faculty:
- NIT Surathkal has permanent HODs, associate professors, and professors. The faculties are well experienced.
- Do not forget that more than professors, your hard work matters most.
Coding Culture:
- The coding culture is at par in both institutions.
- There have been participants at GSOC and other competitions. NIT Surathkal has nearby malls, pools, games, etc. for leisure.
Location:
- NSIT clearly wins at this as it is situated in Delhi. It has easy access to everything.
- However, NIT Surathkal has a beach too for relaxation.
Overall both the colleges are equally good. But NIT Surathkal has a clear edge over NSIT in various aspects.
Firstly, you should know that IIIT UNA is a new college and although it has the IIIT tag, it hasn't been ranked by any esteemed Ranking platforms like NIRF. Its classes are also facilitated by NIT Hamirpur's faculty and the campus and faculty are nice.
As far as NSIT is concerned, it ranks #76 on the NIRF ranking portal for engineering and has a better location in Delhi than Hamirpur, because of the facilities and professional opportunities available.
Here are some more pointers to help you understand better -
- If your interest lies in the program rather than the institute, then go for CSE. Although first reflect on the placement scenario of IIIT UNA, whether they receive good companies or not; if the package is satisfactory, and if speedy placements are facilitated after the course is over.
- When you take a look at NSIT, then you should know that you'd be able to build a good career as a software engineer with the ICE program, but the management will be a little difficult because of the delicate balance between coursework and developing your programming skills.
- Most ICE alumni are now pursuing MBA or working other non-technical jobs. For non-tech, NSIT offers better opportunities.

IT from NSIT is the best option among these.
- The student crowd is brilliant. It has a small batch size compared to DTU. So, you will face less competition.
- NSIT has an amazing pool of faculties. You will get to learn from excellent faculty members like Sangeeta Sabharwal and MPS Bhatia.
- NSIT IT placements are better than DTU and IIIT D. DTU has a better placement record for core branches. While NSIT offers better placements opportunities to CS and IT students. In the recent placement drive, the average CTC for IT at NSIT was INR 6 LPA.
- Companies like Facebook, Google hire students from NSIT from their US offices.
- Major consulting and non-tech companies like Bain, BCG, ZS Associates, etc. also visit the campus placements.
IIIT Delhi has an excellent research culture and professors from top universities like Carnegie Mellon. So, if you are interested in research, you should choose IIIT D. Overall IT from NSIT is the best option in terms of academics and placements.
