IIT Delhi M.Tech Admission through GATE 2022: Registration and Selection Process

IIT Delhi M.Tech application process takes place through the online mode only. The eligible candidates must apply at the IIT Delhi PG Admission Portal for the M.Tech course. The fee for the application form is Rs. 200 for the General/OBC candidates while the application fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates is Rs. 50.

• Candidates must have cleared the GATE exam in order to be eligible for the M.Tech admissions at IIT Delhi. So, they need to register for the exam well in time and appear in it.
• After the candidates have qualified the exam, they also need to register for GATE COAP Counselling. Only the registered candidates receive admission offers.
• Candidates need to upload the required documents and pay the COAP registration fee.
• The seats are allotted over several rounds in the COAP Counselling.
• When a candidate is offered a seat at COAP, they can choose from the three available options - “Accept and Freeze”, “Retain and Wait” or “Reject and Wait”.
• The candidates will be required to confirm their acceptance of the seat and pay the admission fee of the course at IIT Delhi.
• The candidates shall be invited for a written test and personal interview at IIT Delhi before the final selection is made.
