GATE 2020 Result has been declared by IIT Delhi on March 13, 2020. There are a total 25 subjects offered and the list of Toppers for each subject has been released. Out of 685088 candidates who attempted GATE 2020, only 18.8% could qualify the exam. Post declaration of result, state and private universities will conduct their own GATE 2020 counselling process.

Hitesh started his preparation when he was in 5th semester of B.Tech. From 5th to 8th semester he prepared for GATE 2020 along with his college.
Hitesh is a B.Tech graduate and pursued it from University School of Information and Communication Technology (USICT), an institute of IP University based in Dwarka.
He secured 91 out of 100 in GATE 2020. This is a remarkable score especially for a candidate who prepared on his own. Know more about GATE Score Calculation
No, Hitesh had not taken any coaching. He managed to prepare on his own for GATE, along with his college.
Besides his colleges, he took out 6-8 hours daily for GATE 2020 preparation.
GATE 2020 was Hitesh’s first attempt and this a remarkable result. His determination and focus is an example for all. There are very rare candidates like him who go for self study and top the exam first attempt.
As Hitesh had not taken any coaching, he started his preparation from textbooks and also used to practice from online portals. He purchased some test series. After covering all the syllabus by the month of October, he solved as many test papers as possible.

Hitesh finds Computer Organisation a bit tricky and lengthy subject. He himself studied it multiple times. Thus one should focus on subjects like this and give special attention to them.
