NIT Sikkim M.Tech admission is done through GATE 2020. Candidates having score more than CCMT 2019 Cut Off are eligible for M.Tech admissions. CCMT Cut Off is the minimum score that must be obtained by candidates in GATE to be considered eligible for admissions in M. Tech programs offered across NITs via CCMT Counselling. CCMT Cut Off 2020 will be determined by NITs and will vary for each category and discipline. CCMT Cutoff depends on various factors like-

• Availability of seats per branch
• Difficulty level of GATE 2020
• Number of qualified candidates

Online registration for admissions to M.Tech. / M. Arch. / M. Plan. /M. Des. Programmes in all NITs and IITs and CFTIs will be started from April, 2020 second week through Centralized Counselling. The eligible GATE qualified candidates are requested to register themselves at the CCMT portal.

CCMT 2020 Rules for Seat Allotment

1. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the choices filled and the GATE score obtained by the candidate.

2. To resolve and determine inter se merit of candidates having same GATE score, the following criterion will be used in the stated order of preference.

• Candidates having GATE score in 2019 will be given preference over candidates having a score of 2020.
• If years of GATE score is same, then the candidates who was born earlier as compared to other candidates with tie, will be given preference.
• In highly unlikely event of their birth date being the same i.e. same date of birth with same GATE score and year, then preference will be given to that candidate who has passed the qualifying examination in an earlier academic year.

How to get Admission in NIT Sikkim 2020 ?

NIT Sikkim M. Tech Admission Eligibility 2020

• Eligibility criteria to M. Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Plan. admission will be 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates in the qualifying degree.

Verification of Credentials
