GATE Entrance Test:
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level of examination for all eligible candidates and this test tests the comprehensive understanding of candidates in various UG subjects of Engineering/Architecture/Technology. The test is also conducted to examine the level of knowledge of candidates for the PG programs likely M.E/M.Tech and direct Ph.D.
1. If I haven’t qualified with a valid GATE score OR I didn’t appear for GATE, Can I apply?
No. This Centralized Counselling for M. Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Plan/ M. Des. Admissions are exclusively for GATE qualified candidates, possessing valid GATE Score Card (in year 2017 / 2018 / 2019).
2. What happens if I do not register online?
The CCMT 2020 is purely online based admission process. The candidates who fail to register in the CCMT 2020 portal within the stipulated time will not be a part of the admission process. However, later on they can register online for the National Spot Round (NSR) as per the CCMT schedule available on the website ccmt.nic.in
3. I have got two valid GATE scores in year 2017, 2018 & 2019; which GATE Score should I fill in the application?
As per your choice either of the best gate score you can enter. In case of a TIE, it will be resolved using tie breaking rule as mentioned in the CCMT 2020 brochure.
