  • The exam was conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. 3 hours were allotted to solve 65 questions carrying 100 marks
  • Two kinds of questions appeared in GATE 2020 MN i.e. MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and NATs (Numerical Answer Types), each question carrying 1 or 2 marks
  • There was a negative marking pattern for every wrong attempt answer, 1/3 marks would be deducted for every MCQ carrying 1 mark. 2/3 marks would be deducted for every wrong MCQ carrying 2 marks
  • No marks were deducted if attempted NAT questions were wrong, or MCQs or NATs questions goes unattempted
