GATE 2020 CY Paper Analysis

There were two kinds of questions that appeared in GATE 2020 CY i.e MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and NAT (Numerical Answer Type). The full marks of the GATE 2020 CY were 100. All the questions carried either 1 or 2 marks.

The table below shows the frequency of NATs and MCQs carrying 1 and 2 marks asked in GATE 2020 CY paper-

• Most of the questions came from MCQ section
• 43 questions from MCQ and 22 questions from NAT listed in the exam
• 180 minutes were allotted to solve a total 65 questions
• A candidate could easily attempt 40+ questions easily
