GATE 2020 BM Question Paper with Answer Key is available. The exam was successfully conducted by IIT Delhi on February 2nd, 2020 in the Forenoon session (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM). As reported, The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. 12 questions appeared from Sensors and Bio-instrumentation, while a single question was asked from both Biomaterials and Signal and Systems sections.

  • The exam was conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. 3 hours were allotted to solve 65 questions
  • The full marks of the GATE 2020 BM were 100. All the questions carrying either 1 or 2 marks
  • There was a negative marking pattern for every wrong attempt answer, 1/3 marks would be deducted for every MCQ carrying 1 mark. 2/3 marks would be deducted for every wrong MCQ carrying 2 marks
  • No marks were deducted if attempted NAT question turned out to be incorrect, or if the NATs or MCQs goes unattempted
