The exam was conducted by IIT Guwahati on 11 February 2018 in the afternoon session from 14:00 to 17:00 Hours (IST). • The topics covered in Slot 2 of GATE 2018 CE were Building Materials, Theodolite and Traversing, Leveling, Slope and deflection of structures, Trusses and frames, etc.
• In General Aptitude, question number 1 to 5 carries 1 mark and Question number 6 to 10 carries 2 marks. In total, the GATE CE 2018 Set 2 paper has 65 questions.
• It was observed that the paper has Numerical Answer Type (NAT) and Multiple Choice questions, Conceptual questions were more than Calculations.
• The Core Subject Questions of GATE CE 2018 slot 2 were 50% easy, 30% medium, and 20% tough.
