GATE 2014 Civil Engineering (CE) Slot 1 Question Paper and Answer Key PDF is available for download. GATE 2014 Civil Engineering Slot 1 was conducted by IIT Kharagpur on February 2, 2014 in the forenoon session. The overall difficulty level of the exam was rated as moderate to difficult by the test–takers. GATE 2014 CE Slot 1 Question paper was divided into two sections- General Aptitude which carried total of 15 marks and the second section consisted of the core paper that is subject-specific and carries a total of 85 marks. Total 65 questions are there in both the sections out of which 10 are there in the first section and 55 questions are there in the second section.

GATE 2014 Civil Engineering (CE) Slot 1 Paper Analysis
- GATE 2014 Civil Engineering (CE) Question Paper had two sections- General Aptitude and Core Discipline- Civil Engineering.
- In Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), there was one-third negative marking for wrong answer in one mark MCQs and two-third negative marking for each wrong answer in two marks MCQs for GATE 2014 Civil Engineering Question Paper
- There was no negative marking for NAT Questions.
- GATE CE Slot 1 Question Paper had 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
