DAIICT M.Tech Through GATE: Admission to DAIICT M.Tech courses will be granted to the candidates on the basis of their GATE scores. The online application process for Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology M.Tech programs is open from February 18, 2020 and will remain open till May 17, 2020. 

The college offers 64 seats in total for different specializations. Applicants must have a B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./ MCA or M.S degree with minimum 60% marks to be eligible to apply for the program. They must also have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.

DAIICT M.Tech Total Seats Offered

Candidates must make sure that they apply for multiple courses as the seats are few. The candidate has to go through the registration process only once, but the application form filling process has to be completed separately for each course. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in graduation examination i.e. B.tech examinations. The total number of seats offered for M.Tech Admissions by DAIICT is 64. The eligibility criteria for M.Tech Admissions at DAIICT are clearly stated on the college website. Here are the main requirements to complete the application process.

• Candidates must possess a B.E/ B.Tech/M.Sc./ MCA (3 years) degree or a M.S degree from DAIICT with minimum 60% aggregate marks. 
• The disciplines in which the qualifying degree is accepted are CS, EE, EC, IN and IT for B.Tech, whereas, CS, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics for M.Sc. degree
• Applicants must also possess valid GATE scores in CS, ECE/EE, MA or ST disciplines.

Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam will be admitted if they submit the proof of completion of degree before October 30, 2020.

DAIICT Application Process

DAIICT 2020 M.Tech Application Form

Candidates will be able to fill the DAIICT M.Tech Application Form online on the official website.  Before filling the application form, they must have all the required documents ready with themselves. 

Following are the steps to fill the application form:

Step 1: Go to the official website of DAIICT, i.e. admissions.daiict.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the link stating postgraduate programs admission and look for M.Tech ICT Admission link. 

Step 3: Candidates will have to first perform the registration. Read all the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox to proceed.

Step 4: Once done, you will be redirected to the online application form for M.Tech ICT. 

Step 5: Fill in the particulars such as Name, Father’s name, Gender, DoB, contact information, educational qualification details, GATE Score details.

Step 6: After entering all the details, verify them and click on the ‘submit’ button.

Step 7: Lastly, pay the application fee of INR 1200 + GST @ 18%.

Step 8: Once done, take a printed copy of the fee receipt and the application fee.

Application Fee:

• The non-refundable application fee is INR 1200 + GST@ 18%.
• The application fee is to be paid online through a Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / Paytm Wallet.

• Scanned copy of passport size photograph (max 50kb in size)
• Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
• GATE Scores
• Credit/ debit card to pay the application fee
• Class 10 and 12 marksheet

Details to be filled in the DAIICT application form:

• Name: Name must be same as in class 10 and class 12 certificates.
• Father's/Guardian's Name:  fill the details of father’s name as in class 10 or class 12 certificate.
• Gender: select one of the options from male or female.
• Date of birth: Select the date of birth, from the drop-down in the format of date, month and year format.
• Address details: Provide the complete details of address and the name of the contact person in this field.
• Contact information: Candidate must provide the details of landline number, telephone, mobile and email id in this row. The candidate must make sure that all are valid and functional. All communication mails and messages will be sent to the numbers and email ids given.
• Percentage details in class 10 and class 12: Candidate must provide the details of the percentage obtained in class 10 and class 12. This must match with the percentage given by the board exam team.
• Graduation details: candidates must provide the details of qualifying degree, discipline and the university from which candidate has completed graduation. 
• Gate exam details: The candidate has to provide the details of the exam code, GATE registration number, year of passing the exam and GATE score secured by the candidate.
• Declaration by the applicants: Candidate must put a tick mark in the check box provided and must copy the captcha code in the text box given.
• Submit: Click on the final “submit” button.

NOTE: This is a single step registration process. Candidate must go through the process separately for each of the course. Application fee of Rs.1200 must be paid separately for each of the course.

Important Instructions while Filling the Application

• DAIICT application form is acceptable in the online mode only.
• Candidates must not send the print out of the completely filled application form to the admission office.
• Candidates must upload the scanned copy of the recent passport size photograph
• Separate DAIICT application form has to be filled for each course.
• A non-refundable application fee of Rs.1200 has to be paid with each of the course.
• Furnish your name in the capital letter as in class 10 and class 12 certificates.
• Provide the expected date of result, in case the result is yet to be declared.
• Please ensure that your phone number and email are correct, all the communications will be made through email and SMS.

DAIICT Selection Process

Selection procedure DAIICT 2020 M.tech admission

• The selection process for DAIICT M.Tech program is based on eligibility as stated above.
• Candidates must have a valid qualifying degree in relevant disciplines and valid GATE scores. 
• Those who have a GATE score of 425 or above will be considered while preparing the merit list. 
• However, candidates with a GATE score of less than 425 marks can be asked to appear for an interview at DAIICT in person.
• The further decision will be made on their candidature on the basis of their GATE scores and performance in the personal interview round. 
• Note that the candidates can give up to two preferred specializations on the basis of their eligibility conditions. 
• The counseling will be done online for allotment of the specialization. Candidates must check the date of announcement of the first merit list from time to time. They must also keep a tab on their e-mail id for communications from the college to know further steps of counseling.
