Job Profile

Selected candidates for the mentioned post in Bihar State Power Company would be normally on probation for three years. After that, they would be confirmed as a permanent employee like an Assistant manager and IT Manager

The consolidated pay band is INR- 32,000 during the probation period. The CTC would be according to organization norms.

Candidates who have applied for GATE exam can check the required eligibility for PSU recruitment is as follow:

Assistant electrical engineer: 

• Full time 4 years Engineering Degree BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE. 
• A minimum of 60% of marks, 55% for BC/ EBC, and 50% for SC/ST are mandatory.

Assistant Engineer Civil: 

• Full time 4 years’ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE
• A minimum of 60% of marks 55% for BC/ EBC and 50% for SC/ST are mandatory.

BSPCL Recruitment Application Process

There is an online application fee of INR- 1500 for all categories and INR- 375 for SC/ ST of Bihar domicile. Payment will not be accepted in offline mode. The step to fill the online application form are provided below: 

• Visit the official website of BSPCL.
• There you have to register by providing the valid Email ID and Mobile Number. 
• After that, your Registration Number and Password will be generated. 
• Now you have to fill the online application form by providing all the necessary details. 
• Upload the photograph and signature -

Photo (size should be less than 50KB and dimension  200 X 230px)
Signature (size should be less than 20KB and dimension  140 X 60px)

• Pay the fee as mentioned above and take a print out of the application form for future reference. 

Candidates may also be required to upload the following documents during the time online application process. Hence all the candidates are advised to keep all these documents ready with them to avoid any inconvenience. 

• Valid GATE Score
• Class 10^th Certificate as a proof of Age. 
• Class 12^th certificate
• Marksheet of B.Tech or Qualifying Degree. 
• Caste Certificate, if any.

BSPCL Recruitment Selection Process

The selection of candidates would be based on GATE Score. After that, a combined merit list will be prepared on the basis of valid GATE score and category wise post. Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be appointed for the mentioned posts.

There are some general instructions for the aspirants to know before applying:

• Reservation will be given in terms of reservation rules and policies as per govt. of Bihar.
• Candidate must have an active e-mail id and mobile number, which must remain valid till completion of the selection process.
• Candidates are informed that they should go through the BSHPCL eligibility. If any of the information mentioned in the application form found to be false, then the candidature will be cancelled.
• The candidate has to submit a copy of the educational certificate and caste certificate before June 30, 2020.
