*Final year students are eligible to apply for BNPM but they must bring their final degree certificate at the time of interview.

*28 Years as on 31.02.2020 (tentative)- the upper-limit for Age of candidates from General category

Selection Process

1. Interested and eligible candidates need to appear in GATE 2020 in papers of their streams/branches- Mechanical Engineering paper (ME), Chemical Engineering (CH) paper, Electrical Engineering (EE) paper or Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC) paper.
2. Only the candidates scoring valid score i.e. a score greater than or equal to the qualifying marks fixed by the GATE authorities will be shortlisted for the next round of recruitment.
3. Personal Interview: encompasses questions such as “What is your dream job”, “Why do you want to join a PSU like BNPM”, “Where do you want to take your career in the next 5 years”, “What are your strengths and weaknesses”. Candidates must familiarize themselves with the status of the company, its projects and its standing in the industry. Exceptional communication skills and English proficiency will give you an edge over others so working on these parameters will take you a long way in your career at BNPM.
4. Group Discussion: round mainly revolves around current, socio-economic and technological events- the need for sustainable construction, bullet trains in India, women empowerment, etc. Candidates should be well aware of all happenings in the country and must expand their general knowledge to make the first impression the lasting one.
