Candidates have to pay INR 300 through online mode as the application fee. Females, Reserved category and PwD candidates are exempted to pay the application fee.

AAI Recruitment 2020 : Eligibility

The eligibility conditions for AAI recruitment is listed below:

• Citizenship: Applicants should be Indian Citizens

AAI Recruitment Eligibility – Age Limit 

1. Not more than 27 years for Unreserved Candidates.
2. Not more than 30 years for OBC candidates.
3. Not more than 32 years for SC/ST Candidates.
4. For Ex‐servicemen, age relaxation is applicable as prescribed by Govt. of India orders issued from time‐to‐time.
5. Relaxation by 05 (Five) Years for the candidate who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.1989 and candidate has to provide the certificate for the same issued by District Magistrate/Block Development Officer/Sub Divisional Officer at the time of document verification.
6. The Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will only be accepted.

AAI Recruitment Eligibility – Academic Qualification

1. Qualifying degree acquired through distance learning/part time or equivalent qualifications such AMIE/Certificate etc. will not be acceptable.
2. Applicants should have scored minimum 60% marks in a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized/ deemed university or from an apex Institution (like IIT) recognized by Government of India.
3. Only candidates with qualifying GATE 2020 Normalized Marks will be eligible to apply for the post of Junior Executives. 
4. The date of declaration of result or issuance of Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination will be considered to be the date of acquiring the qualification.

Candidates are advised to read the following instructions carefully before appyling online:

• Candidates are required to apply online through the official website i.e. www.aai.aero under the “Careers” tab.
• Before applying, candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID. 

Moreover, candidates should keep at hand the following details/ documents/ information:

1. Educational qualification details with percentage of marks/ GATE 2020 Scorecard etc. as per eligibility criteria.
2. Caste/ Category Certificate (for SC/OBC-NCL Candidates)

AAI Recruitment – Application Fee

Candidates are required to remit the prescribed fee through bank challan and deposit the fee at the nearest SBI branch. Candidates belonging to reserved categories and female candidates are not required to pay any Application fee.

AAI Recruitment 2020 : Selection Process

• Candidates will be screened on the basis of Normalized GATE 2020 Scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called directly for document verification at the corporate headquarters in New Delhi.
• Please note that screening and eligibility would strictly be on the basis of details furnished by the applicants. As such, candidates are advised to ensure they fulfill the eligibility conditions as specified by AAI.
• The call letter for document verification will be sent to the registered email-ID of the candidates.
• At the time of document verification, candidates will have to present a copy of the said call letter, proof of identity, original certificates along with a set of self‐attested photocopies of the same.
• Candidates employed in a Government/Semi‐Government/PSU establishment are required to produce a NOC from the current employer at the time of document verification.
• Post document verification, selection will be done as per merit list prepared on the GATE 2020 Normalized Marks of applicants.

It should be borne in mind that appointment of selected candidates is subject to verification of documents relating to the eligibility criteria, character and antecedents and other documents submitted and is also subject to the candidate meeting the requisite medical standards for the post and other requirements applicable for appointments under the rules of AAI.

AAI Recruitment - Special Instructions

• Applicants are advised to not provide any misinformation in the online application form of AAI. In case, at any stage of the recruitment process, any candidate is found guilty of misrepresenting information or canvassing in any form, the application will be summarily rejected apart from initiating any other course of action deemed fit.
• Candidates should provide their permanent address in the application form in order to avoid any misplacement of communication from AAI in the future.
• It is advisable to complete the application and fee payment process much earlier than the deadline in order to avoid last minute rush and possible technical glitches.
• All correspondence with candidates will be done through e-mail only and all general information shall be provided through the AAI website. As such, all candidates are advised to visit their email account/AAI website regularly for further updates.
• The decision of AAI in regard to the eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection to the post etc. as well as modification/restriction of the recruitment process shall be final and binding.
• Candidates recruited for the position of Junior Executives will have to execute a surety bond for an amount of INR 5 lakhs to serve AAI for a period of three years after completion of training.
