West Bengal NEET Counselling 2021 is expected to start in the month of November 2021. NEET 2021 Result has been released on Nov 1, based on the scores and AIR obtained, NEET counselling will be conducted. West Bengal NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria for WB NEET Counselling 2021. Before appearing in West Bengal NEET Counselling 2021, all the candidates need to hold a domicile certificate of the state. A tabular representation regarding the eligibility criteria is mentioned.

Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals aspirants Must be 17 years as on December 31, 2021
  • Should qualify 10+2 exam with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as main. 
  • General candidates must secure not less than 50% of marks in aggregate whereas SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates need to secure 40% and 45% of marks respectively. 

Note:

  • Proforma a1: Residing in the state continuously for the past 10 years (or more) as on December 31, 2021.
  • Proforma a2: Residing in the state continuously for the past 10 years (or more) as on December 31, 2020. Must qualify 10+2 examination in the year 2021 or before.
  • Proforma b: Not residing in the state but one of their parents is a permanent resident of the state and has a permanent address in the state.

West Bengal NEET Counselling 2021: Application Procedure

The online application process for WB NEET Counselling 2021 is mentioned below.

Step 1: Registration & Payment of Fees

  • Must register via online mode on the official website of WBMCC wbmcc.nic.in
  • Pay the required registration fees through online

In the below table category wise registration fees are given.

Reserved and PWD 1,500 + transaction charges

Step 2: Document verification round

  • To take part in WB NEET Counselling 2021, candidates must clear the verification process. 
  • Following this, candidates need to report at the centre to complete the document verification round. 

Step 3: Choice filling

  • In the web option process, candidates must enter the name of their preferred colleges . 
  • Preference can be entered only through the online mode.

Step 4: Seat allotment list

  • After the choice filling process, the result of seat allotment will be released by WBMCC.
  • Based on the preferences entered during the web option entry process, seats for the candidates will be allocated. 

Step 5: Reporting to the institute

  • After receiving the seat allotment result, candidates need to report to the allotted institute at the right time. 
  • Candidates can be disqualified for the last round of the counselling process if they fail to report at the concerned institute on the specific day and the right time.
