NEET Passport Size Photo with Name and Date

NEET Passport Size Photo to be uploaded must have the candidate's name and the date of taking the photo printed on it. You must upload a scanned image of the recent passport size photograph taken on or after January 1, 2023.

Guidelines for Uploading NEET Photo in Desired Size and Format

• The photographs are not to be attested by the candidates.
• NEET photo should be free from any shadow or reflections.
• Social media or computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
• The passport size photo for NEET must not have any scenic background or visible obstacles.
• You can use photo compressor tools to get the desired NEET photo size.
• If you wear glasses on a regular basis, then it is acceptable in NEET photo.
• Photos with sunglasses or goggles are not allowed for any candidate.

Postcard Size Photo for NEET

You must upload a scanned image of your Postcard size photo for NEET application. The dimensions of the postcard size image are 4”x 6”. The photo should be taken without sunglasses and the face (including ears) should be clearly visible. The other specifications include:

Guidelines to Upload NEET Postcard Size Photograph

NTA has laid down clear guidelines for uploading NEET photo (postcard/ passport-size).

• The photograph can be either in color or black and white with 80% face coverage.
• The postcard size photo for NEET should be taken on a white background.
• Eyes should be open and looking straight into the camera and not sideways.
• NTA NEET postcard size photo must be scanned before uploading.

NEET Signature Size

The scanned image of NEET signature should be between 4 to 30 KB. The Signature should be in running hand done on a white paper with black ink pen only.

Guidelines for Uploading NEET Signature

NTA guidelines for uploading NEET signature in the desired size and format include:

• Signature done in CAPITAL letters is not acceptable.
• NTA NEET signature image should be scanned before uploading.
• Overwriting on signature should be avoided at all costs.

Signature should be yours and not someone else’s. If at any point it is found out that the signatures are forged, the case will be treated as ‘Unfair Means Practices’ and action will be taken accordingly.

NEET Thumb Impression Size and Sample 2023

You also need to upload scanned images of the left and right hand finger and thumb impressions in JPG format. NEET thumb impression image size should be between 10 to 200 KB. The finger and thumb impression for NEET must be taken only with blue ink on a white paper.

NTA provides the opportunity to correct deficient/ incorrect images during NEET 2023 application form correction window only. NEET image correction facility of NTA allows you to re-upload the images as per NEET 2023 photo size, format and guidelines to avoid rejection. The steps to avail of this facility are:

• Visit neet.nta.nic.in
• Click on 'Correction in NEET UG 2023 Application Form'
• Login using your registration number and password/ date of birth.
• Upload new NEET photo and signature scanned images.
• Click on 'Save Changes' and Submit.
• Verify the correction using the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
• Download NEET UG 2023 application form correction slip and save it for future reference.

The same photo that you submitted will be printed on your NEET UG 2023 Admit Card.
