NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET Merit List 2023 is released by NTA based on NEET 2023 score for candidates who have opted for 15% AIQ seats. The Merit list for NEET 2023 is then sent to DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for providing the same to MCC for conducting 15% AIQ NEET Counselling. The respective state authorities also release the state-wise NEET Merit List 2023 for admission to 85% of state quota seats. Check Here
Firstly, the authorities release the provisional merit lists based on which candidates participate in the admission process. After each round of counselling concludes, the final NEET allotment lists are released that contain the name of the candidates, their ranks, and the name of the allotted college against that rank. The qualifying NEET 2023 cut off percentile is 50 for GN, 45 for GN-PwD, and 40 for SC/ST/OBC. The corresponding minimum cut off score is released category-wise along with the results. Candidates can use NEET 2023 College Predictor to get a list of top medical colleges accepting their scores for MBBS/ BDS admission.

Candidates who qualify NEET 2023 by scoring equal to or more marks equivalent to the cutoff of NEET 2023 will be eligible for All India Quota admissions. The merit list will have as many names as the number of seats under All India Quota. For such candidates, counselling will be done on the basis of their All India Quota Rank.

Ques: Is Neet merit list released?
Ans: NEET merit list for AIQ seats is released after the declaration of NEET Results and AIR by NTA. NEET merit lists are also released by various state bodies based on which the admission process is being conducted.
Ques: How NEET 2023 merit list is prepared?
Ans: NEET 2023 merit list is prepared based on the marks oatined by candidates in the 2023 NEET examination. Only those students who have qualified by scoring the minimum marks are considered eligible while creating the merit list.
Ques: What are the minimum marks required to get into NEET merit list?
Ans: Candidates who have scored above or equal to NEET 2023 Cut off scores under the general and reserved category respectively will be eligible to participate in the admission process.
Ques: Is 1 lakh a good rank in NEET?
Ans: Yes, with the rank of 1,00,000 in NEET UG candidates, can get admission in BDS, AYUSH and various other courses offered to candidates.
Ques: Will government colleges release their own NEET merit list?
Ans: No. Colleges do not release any separate merit list. MCC is responsible for releasing the AIQ merit list and states are responsible for releasing the state wise merit lists.
The details regarding NEET Reservation are provided in the table below. The Supreme Court has upheld the provision of 27% reservation to OBC and 10% to EWS candidates in the AIQ seats. If any changes will be made, then the same will also be updated here.

For two or more candidates securing the same marks in the entrance exam, the following tie-breaking criteria will be used for preparing NEET All India Merit List 2023. Last year, age criteria and application form number were as the last resort but these have been removed this year.
Selected candidates will be issued a call letter, having the information related to counselling of NEET, schedule, procedure, fee, etc. There are various authorities who will hold NEET Counselling. A brief about the same is given below:
MCC will conduct the counselling at the national and state level. Additionally, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), will conduct the NEET 2023 counselling for the following categories:

Ques. What is the NEET Merit List?
Ans. NEET merit list is a rank list prepared for counselling and admission into medical and dental colleges. NTA prepares the merit list for 15% AIQ seats based on which MCC is carrying out NEET 15% AIQ Counselling. Also, after each round of counselling, the provisional and final NEET Merit list 2022 (seat allotment list) are released containing the names, ranks and colleges allotted to the candidates.

Ans. NEET Merit List for Deemed universities is prepared to conduct the 15% AIQ NEET Counselling by MCC. Since NEET is a mandatory exam to get admission in any medical college therefore without creating the merit list no college can take admissions.
Ans. AIIMS Delhi cutoff for general category students is around 705. Although the cutoff changes each year depending on different factors, try to score above 705, to secure a seat.
