Will NTA announce 2 Exam Dates for NEET 2023?
NTA may announce 2 NEET 2023 exam dates. In 2021, the matter of holding NEET twice a year was discussed by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. It is expected that the discussion will resume again this year as no consensus was reached then. There are various reasons for the ongoing demand for holding NEET 2023 on 2 dates:
- With more than 17-18 lakh candidates registering to appear for NEET exam on a single date, it becomes difficult to organize and manage given the situation.
- Furthermore, last year, there were various controversies related to cheating, PILs for result declaration, errors in question papers, etc.
- Suicide cases of medical aspirants who appear for NEET exam have also aggravated the discussion to hold NEET twice every year.
