NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NEET Chemistry syllabus 2023 is based on the syllabus of subjects studied in Class 11 and 12. Last year no changes were made in the syllabus and this year also, the syllabus is expected to remain the same. NEET Chemistry syllabus covers a total of 14 & 16 units from class 11 and 12 respectively. In NEET 2023, a total of 50 questions will be asked from NEET Chemistry Syllabus. Candidates will have to attempt a total of 45 sections, 35 from section A and any 10 from section B. Question: What are the changes in NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2023?
Ans. As per the official notification released by NTA, no changes for NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2023 have been made so far. It is advised to all candidates to browse through the entire syllabus.
Question: Is it required to give both importance and time to NEET Chemistry Syllabus of class 11?
Ans. All candidates are required to give equal importance and time for the preparation of NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2022 in class 11 and class 12 level. Every year, the total number of questions and weightage of the topic from class 11 and 12 varies. On the basis of the paper analysis of the previous year’s question paper, equal weightage is given to the syllabus of both the classes.
Question: What weightage does the chemistry paper carry in NEET 2023?
Ans. In NEET 2023, candidates need to mark a total of 45 questions in the chemistry paper. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks. On the other side, 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The entrance test will be conducted through the offline mode. And the exam must be completed within 3 hours.
Question: What book do I need to follow for the preparation of the chemistry syllabus for NEET 2023?
Ans. Though the NCERT books of 10+2 level are one of the good sources for the preparation of the entrance exam, some books are mentioned below.
Question: What is the distribution of NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2023?
Ans. Based on the NEET Chemistry Syllabus of 11 and 12 level, a total of 14 units from class 11 and a total of 16 units from class 12 must be covered for the preparation of NEET 2023.
Question: As per the notification, CBSE board and some other state boards have relaxed the syllabus 10+2 level. Is there any chance for the reduction of NEET Chemistry Syllabus 2023?
Ans. No, NEET Chemistry Syllabus will not be reduced by the authorised body. As per the official notification by MoE the chemistry syllabus of NEET 2023 will remain the same.
Ans. AIIMS Delhi cutoff for general category students is around 705. Although the cutoff changes each year depending on different factors, try to score above 705, to secure a seat.
