How to Get Admission in Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak?

Admission to UG Courses namely MBBS and BDS is done on the basis of rank obtained in NEET 2018. All inspiring candidates must secure a rank lower than 400 in NEET 2018 to be eligible for admission rounds in Pt. B.D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.

Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Admission Procedure

Candidates have to clear NEET 2018 cutoff for PGIMS. They have to carry NEET 2018 admit card with original certificates as well as NEET 2018 scorecard at the time of seat allotment.

If two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the exam, preference will be given to

  • Candidate having higher marks in Biology/Biotechnology in NEET 2018.
  • Candidate having higher marks in Chemistry in NEET 2018.

PGIMS Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to grab a seat in one of the topmost leading institutions of India, one should fulfil the mentioned criteria.

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2018. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years relaxable for a period of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • Essential Academic Qualification: Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 is eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible.
  • General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Aspirants who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2018 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.
