DME Assam conducts Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling for registered candidates only. BEET Counselling is conducted in multiple rounds. At the end of each round, candidates are allotted seats as per their choices and position in the merit list. Selection in Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2021 will be made under 5 categories namely OC, SC, ST (Plains), ST (Hills) and PH reservations following the rules of reservation of the Government of Assam as follows. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to listed categories. The remaining 60% of the seats are open for unreserved applicants. Candidates claiming reservation under certain categories are required to present the original documentation supporting their claim.

Ans: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) is the body responsible for releasing the Assam cut off and will conduct the Assam NEET counselling.
