AP NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria

• A candidate should be of at least 17 years of age at the time of admission.
• The maximum age limit of a candidate should be 25 (30 years for reserved) for the general category.

Qualifying Marks for NEET 2021 Counselling

• Candidate must have cleared Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually in the qualifying examination.
• 50 percent aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are mandatory for unreserved category candidates.
• For candidates of the SC/ST/OBC category, the aggregate marks should be 40%.
• For Candidates of the OC PH category, the aggregate marks in PCB should be 45%.

Nationality

• Candidate must be of Indian nationality, PIO (Person of Indian Origin), OCI (Overseas Citizens of India).
• In order to be eligible for NEET 2021 counselling, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects.

AP NEET Counselling 2021: Reservations Criteria

AP NEET Counselling Process 2021

Candidates need to register for AP NEET counselling 2021 for admission to 85% state quota seats in MBBS and BDS. The application forms for Andhra Pradesh NEET MBBS Admissions 2021 will be available in the month of November 2021. Candidates can follow these simple steps to apply for AP NEET Counselling. 

Online Registration, Filling Application Form, and Payment of Fee

• Go to the official website of NTRUHS i.e. apmedadm.ntruhs.ap.gov.in
• Click on the Online Registration link and enter details like NEET roll number, NEET Rank, DOB, Mobile Number, etc. 
• Submit by clicking on the validate tab. The online registration is complete. Now, log in using the AP NEET Counselling registration number generated in this step.
• Fill the Application form with the respective personal and educational details.
• Complete the application form and click on submit.
• Take note of the registration ID and password for future reference.
• Pay the application fee: The application fee is INR 3450 for General/ OBC candidates and INR 2950 for SC/ ST candidates
• Take a printout of the submitted application form  

AP State Merit List

• State Merit List will be released by NTRUHS on the official website for candidates who have successfully completed the document verification process.
• The merit list will mention the names of AP NEET Counselling registered candidates along with their state rank and category-wise ranks.

AP MBBS/ BDS Courses and Colleges Choice Filling

• Candidates need to log in to the website with the earlier generated ID and password to fill in their preferences for courses and colleges.
• There is no defined limit on the number of courses and colleges that can be selected from the available list of options.
• It must be noted that MBBS/ BDS seats will be allocated based on the choices filled by the candidates.

AP NEET Seat Allotment

• AP NEET Seat Allotment list is released by NTRUHS based on NEET score, rank obtained in state merit list, and choices filled by the candidates
• Candidates need to report at the institute for confirmation of seats.
• The Seats left vacant after the first allotment are carried forward to the second round and so on.

AP NEET Counselling 2021: Documents Required

Candidates need the following documents for completing the verification process post online submission of AP NEET Counselling application.

1. NEET 2021 Admit Card
2. NEET 2021 Rank Card
3. SSC or equivalent examinations showing the date of birth
4. Memorandum of marks qualifying examination in the intermediate or equivalent examination, Transfer certificate
5. Study certificate(s) from 6th class to intermediate
6. In case candidates studied in the institutions outside the state of Andhra Pradesh, a residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parents was issued by MRO/Tahsildar. (excluding study period outside the state) for a period of 10 years (years of period to be specified)
7. In case candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim
8. Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by an Officer prescribed.
9. In case claiming fee exemption, the latest income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO/Tahsildar or white ration card
10. Aadhar Card
11. Minority certificate issued by Minorities Welfare Department, Government of AP
