NEET 2021 Question paper: The Physics section in the 2021 question paper was rated as the toughest of the paper. 18 questions were framed from the class XI syllabus and 32 questions were framed from the class XII syllabus. 

  • The Chemistry section was the easiest section of the paper. 20 questions were framed from class XI syllabus and 30 questions were framed from the class XII syllabus. 
  • The biology subject had two separate sections in the paper - Zoology, and Botany. A total of 51 Questions were asked from class XI and 49 Questions were asked from class XII.

NEET 2021 Registration Statistics

A total of 1614777 candidates registered for NEET 2021. The statistics associated with the exam are as follows.

  • Among the candidates registering for NEET 2021, 1054 were NRIs, 564 were OCIs, and 883 were foreigners. The rest were Indian Nationals.
  • Out of the total NEET 2021 registrants, 710979 were males, 903782 were females,and 16 were transgenders.
  • In total 1544275 candidates (95.63%) candidates appeared for NEET 2021.
  • NEET 2021 was conducted in 202 cities and in 11 languages.
