NEET 2021 Question paper was rated moderate to difficult by test takers. In the 2021 session, the authority had also revised NEET exam pattern where the total number of questions had been increased to 200 and internal choices were provided in section B of the paper.

• The difficulty level of the Physics section was high. Electrostatics & Electricity and Mechanics were given high weightage in the section.
• The difficulty level of the second section, Chemistry, was moderate. Inorganic chemistry was given high weightage in the section.
• Botany was moderate in terms of overall difficulty. Genetics and Plant Physiology were the dominant units in the section.
• Zoology was also moderate in difficulty. Questions from Biotechnology and Human Physiology were dominant in the section.
