NEET 2020 Question paper was rated to be of moderate difficulty. The exam was significant in a number of ways.

  • NEET 2020 was the first to be conducted in two sessions (September 13 and October 14, 2020) at 3,900 (approx) exam centers and across 155 cities.

Approximately 1,22,000 candidates registered for the exam from Tamil Nadu, out of which 1,200 (approx.) candidates opted to undertake the exam in the Tamil language. Around 58,000 candidates from Tamil Nadu qualified NEET 2020 by clearing the relevant cut off. Check NEET Cutoff.

NEET 2020 Question Paper: Sectional Analysis

The brief NEET 2020 Question paper Analysis is as follows.

Physics

  • The Physics section was the easiest section of the paper with 30-40% of Questions directly from the NCERT textbooks
  • The Numericals were based on a direct formula-based approach and were not lengthy

Chemistry

  • The Chemistry Section was rated to be moderate.
  • 16 Questions were asked from Physical Chemistry, 13 from Organic Chemistry, and 16 from Inorganic Chemistry
  • The Chemistry section had only a few numerical questions.

Botany

  • Botany was the toughest subject of the paper
  • 2 Questions were asked from out of the NCERT syllabus
  • The majority of the questions were concept-based, which added to the difficulty level of the section

Zoology

  • The difficulty level of Zoology was moderate, although a few questions were tricky to solve.
  • Questions were mostly fact-based direct questions. However, 3 Questions were asked from out of the NCERT syllabus.
