The authority has closed Manipur NEET Counselling 2021 registration on Dec 6, 2021 and released the list of candidates who have applied successfully for the counselling process on the official website at manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in.

• It is expected that round 1 of Manipur NEET counselling 2021 will commence from the 3rd week of January 2022. Candidates would be allotted seats based on their scores, preferences of colleges and courses filled during the seat allotment round, and institute cut off. Check NEET 2021 Cut off
• In total two rounds of Manipur NEET counselling would be held and if the seats left vacant after the conclusion of round 2 then an extra mop up round will be conducted.

Manipur NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for Manipur MBBS/BDS NEET 2021 State Counselling, candidates must fulfil the following criteria.

Domiciled in Manipur

• Candidates should be born and schooled in Manipur since his/her birth.
• A domicile certificate would be required as proof during the application process.

Residing in Manipur for More than 20 years.

• If the candidate is not domiciled in Manipur, he/she should have been living in Manipur for more than 20 years continuously.
• As proof, a candidate's class XI or Class XII certificates (indicating his/her schooling from an institute in Manipur) would be required.

Parent’s Employment in Government of Manipur

• If any one of the candidate’s parents are an employee of the Government of Manipur or are working at any institution completely funded and controlled by the Government of Manipur, they would be eligible for counselling.

Manipur NEET Counselling 2021: Counselling Process

Only NEET candidates Qualified for Manipur State MBBS/ BDS counselling will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Further, 15% of the seats will be reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ) candidates for which MCC would organize separate counselling sessions. Registration and Submission of NEET 2021 Results

• Candidates mentioned in the List of Qualifiers for Manipur State Counselling can submit their NEET 2021 scorecards, and register for the Manipur State Counselling for MBBS/MDS.
• The registration and counselling rounds for the seat allotment are held in offline mode.

Filling of the Application Form

• Next, the candidates would be required to download the Application form, fill it with the choice of institutes and courses, and then submit it.
• The candidate would also need to submit an application fee for the same.
• The duly filled application form can be submitted in person at the nearest Directorate of Health Services Office or can be sent through post.

Counselling Rounds

• For admissions into Manipur State MBBS/BDS Institutes, two counselling rounds would be conducted.
• Candidates would be allotted seats based on their preferences, their scores in the exam, and NEET Cutoffs for the particular institute (given below).
• If any vacant seats are available after the second round of counselling, a special Mop-up Round would be conducted.

Release of Merit List

• After the release of each round, a merit list of the candidates who have been allotted seats would be released.
• The candidates who have been allotted a seat would be required to submit first session fees, and get their documents verified at the allotted institutes.

Registered candidates would be required to submit an application form in order to participate in Manipur MBBS/BDS NEET 2021 State Counselling. • Filling the Personal Information - First and foremost the candidate would be required to fill in their personal details: Name, Gender, Birthdate, Caste, etc.

• Downloading Acknowledgement Slip
• This part is not to be filled by the candidate but by the authorities at the Directorate of Health Services.
• Upon successful verification of the candidate’s documents and claims, he would be assigned an enrollment number for counselling and provided one Acknowledgement Slip for the same.
• Candidates are advised to keep this acknowledgement slip safe as it would be required in original at the time of document verification at the allotted institute. The other part of the slip would be kept in the office.
