Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021 portal has been launched on Nov 11- info.mahacet.org/CAP2021/NEET_UG, and the schedule is expected to be released by the 3rd week of November 2021. State CET Cell, Maharashtra has also released the list of documents required for counselling. NEET Result 2021 has been released by the NTA on Nov 1. Candidates planning to take admission in Maharashtra MBBS colleges can apply either for 15% AIQ seats or for 85% State Quota seats based on NEET Cut off 2021.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) for candidates who seek admission under 85% of state quota seats. Candidates can seek admission for an intake of around 9000 seats under the MBBS program and 3526 seats under the BDS program. Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Before the registration process, candidates need to meet the basic eligibility criteria. The minimum eligibility criteria are mentioned below in the table.

NEET 2021 The candidate must be a citizen of India Candidates should pass the 10+2 level Candidates who have qualified 10th class outside of the state of Maharashtra but passed their 12th class in the state of Maharashtra should produce a domicile certificate.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021: Registration Process 

Through the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra, applicants can register themselves to complete Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021 process.

  • Go to the official website of the state CET cell of Maharashtra at cetcell.mahacet.org/
  • Browse through all the important information
  • On the top of the right side of the homepage click on the link “NEET-UG-2020 (CAP PORTAL)”
  • Click on the button “New Registration”
  • Read all the important instruction
  • Enter the required information such as NEET roll number, the application number, marks along with all India rank in NEET 2020, contact information and other personal details on the application form.
  • Upload all the important scanned documents
  • Pay the required amount of the application fee
  • Give a look at the condition that is under the section “Declaration by Candidate”
  • Set a password and click on the “Submit” button to proceed
  • Click on the Save button to save the online application form
  • Take a printout of the same

Maharashtra NEET Counselling Application Fees

During the registration process, candidates must pay the application fee for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021 process. In a table, application fees under all the quotas are given.

After Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021 Registration

  •  After the completion of the online registration procedure of Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021, the concerned authority will release a provisional merit list. It will contain the name of that candidate who has successfully completed the registration process along with the verification process. 
  • Following this, the choice filling option will start. In this process, candidates need to enter both their courses and college preferences. KIt must be entered by login to their official account on the website. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to change their preferences later on.
  • After the completion of this process, a list of seat allotments will be officially released by the conducting authority. Based on the choices of the candidate and the rank from the state merit list, the seat will be allotted for the verification process. In the last round, candidates must report to their concerned institute on or before the last date set by the concerned authority.
  • With all the required documents in original and photocopy, candidates need to report to the allotted institute to complete the verification round. To complete the last round, candidates must be presented physically at the venue and at the right time of Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021.

Documents Required for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021

  • NEET 2021 admit card
  • A photocopy of NEET 2021 application form
  • NEET 2021 result or scorecard
  • Certificate of Nationality issued by District Magistrate or a valid Indian passport or any of school leaving certificate for 10th class or 12th class
  • Domicile certificate
  • Marksheet of class 10
  • Passed the certificate of Class 12 
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID card
  • Certificate of Medical Fitness

Additional Necessary Documents under Constitutional Reservation Category

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste validity certificate (if applicable)
  • Non-creamy layer certificate that is valid up to 31/03/2022 (For VJ, NT1, NT2, NT3, SEBC & OBC including SBC)

Additional Necessary Documents for PwD Category Candidates

  • A certificate of medical fitness issued by the authorized medical board for the person with a disability or PwD candidates
  • Certificate issued by any medical board other than the Authorized Medical Board is not valid

Additional Necessary Documents for EWS Category Candidates

  • Eligibility certificate for the category of EWS issued by the competent authority according to the State Government Format
  • Certificates issued in Central Government Format will not be accepted

Additional Necessary Documents for Candidates under Hilly Area Category

  • Parent domicile certificate stating that he/ she is from the hilly area
  • The candidate should have passed class 10 or 12 from a school situated in the hilly area of his parent’s domicile or the taluka of his parent’s domicile

Additional Necessary Documents for Candidates under D-1 Category

  • Certificate of parents from Zillah Sainik Board
  • Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate of Parents

Additional Necessary Documents for Candidates under D-2 Category

  • Certificate from a competent defence service authority stating that the parent is serving in Army/ Navy/ Air Force
  • Domicile of Maharashtra certificate of defence person

Additional Necessary Documents for Candidates under D-3 Category

  • Certificate from a competent defence service authority stating that the parent is serving in Army/ Navy/ Air Force and transferred and posted in Maharashtra
  • Present service certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Domicile certificate of the parent(s) outside the state of Maharashtra is only applicable

Additional Necessary Documents for Candidates under MKB Category

  • Disputed area certificate
  • Certificate for Mother tongue, Class 10 or Class 12 from MKB area

Other Documents, if necessary

  • Ex-servicemen certificate
  • A certificate from the concerned authority for the orphan child

Maharashtra NEET BAMS Counselling 2021

MAHCET Cell will release the selection list for Maharashtra BAMS Counselling 2021 round on the official website at mahacet.org. 

  • The list will be available on the website for admission in Ayurveda, Nursing and Physiotherapy programs. 
  • BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, PT, OT, BASLP, BP&O, and B.Sc Nursing programs will be offered to candidates who will complete the counselling process.
