NEET 2019 Rank Predictor

Before appearing for the exam, candidates must have a clear knowledge about the exam. Students do not acknowledge is that the syllabus for the exam is what they study in their 11th and 12th standard which means that they need to be smart enough to strategise their preparation plan. Doing this might seem scary but is achievable as what is required majorly is figuring out the critical areas and topics to study.

This is where this article comes to the rescue. Here we provide detailed information regarding the important chapters that will help the students to strategise their study plan.

NEET 2019 Syllabus

NEET 2019 Syllabus will majorly cover the following three subjects:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology- Botany and Zoology

All it has been said earlier and seen above the syllabus is totally based on what the students have been studying the school. So clearly, it is crucial to focus on what is being taught in the 11th and 12th standard.

Before explicitly listing out significant chapters for the preparation let’s discuss a little about the distribution of marks for each subject. It has been notified to the students that Physics and Chemistry weigh 45 marks each and biology Weighs 90 marks (45 each for botany and zoology).

However, for making things easier, the table below provides the students with the information regarding the division of marks on the bases of the number of questions from 11th and 12th standard.

Subject Class XI Class XII
Number of questions Total marks Number to questions Total marks
Physics 19 76 26 104
Chemistry 16 64 29 116
Biology 53 212 37 148
total 88 352 92 368

Now that the students have an idea of the marks distribution, let’s finally move on to the important chapters. To make things organised the important chapters are provided subject wise with all the necessary information.
