As per the latest notification, candidates seeking admission is undergraduate (UG) courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) will have to qualify NEET 2020. The Ministry of AYUSH has implemented the same from 2019-20 academic session.
Latest: Successfully registered candidates can download NEET 2020 Admit Card from March 27, 2020.
The notification released by the Ministry of Ayush clearly states that all the admissions for the courses - BAMS, BHMS and BUMS will be conducted through NEET Exam.

NTA conducts the exam every year for the students seeking admissions to various medical or dental colleges in India for MBBS and BDS courses. After the implementation of the system no more private examinations will be conducted for filling seats at the various AYUSH colleges.
The Ministry of AYUSH will be coordinating and discussing the requirements for the exam with NTA for AYUSH UG courses. Currently, the ministry is going through the regulatory issues involved in implementing this plan.
The inclusion of this proposal will bring all the AYUSH courses under one roof and will maintain the quality standards of students. This implementation will also centralize almost all the entrance examinations for MBBS, BDS, MD, MS and MDS courses with the various AYUSH courses such as BHMS, BAMS, and BUMS.

It will standardize the courses in this stream and attract more students towards these courses and also eliminate the need for students to fill multiple application forms for various Ayurveda and Yoga universities across the country by providing a centralized process.
There are around 36,000 seats available under the AYUSH colleges for the various UG courses currently. The various state level universities conduct their entrance examinations for these AYUSH seats. Students can check out the overall Seat Intake across India.
