K J Somiaya College of Engineering Special Scholarship
The college has recently launched a special scholarship for B.Tech Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering & Mechanical Engineering students. It is a merit-based scholarship in the range of INR 1 Lakhs to INR 2 Lakhs per year. The following parameters will be considered for selecting the candidate under this scholarship:
- Academic Performance: The candidate must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in Class X and at least 65% marks in Class XII to be eligible for this scholarship.
- Performance in Entrance Examination: The table below shows the cutoff criteria based on which admission is sought to the college:

The amount offered as a scholarship at the time of admission will be continued in the subsequent years provided the candidate maintains a consistent CGPI of 6.5 and above.

Blue Star: Mohan T. Advani Centennial Scholarships program supports economically challenged but academically deserving students in their pursuit of a professional/technical program, and prepares them for their professional lives. Sulzer: The scholarship aims to support and increase the participation of women in the science and engineering professions. This scholarship is offered to female students in the first year from the Department of Mechanical Engineering who have scored a minimum first class (60%) or more in the 10th (Secondary School Certificate) and 12th (Higher Secondary Certificate) standards.

To raise funds in support of needy students, some employees of KJSCE came together to establish an organization, “PUSH” (People United for Students’ Help). Funds are collected annually from employees, students, alumni and well-wishers. This scholarship is offered to a student from the second year or the final year, except those admitted Directly to the Second Year, from any of the following departments: Department of Computer Engineering/Department of Electronics Engineering/Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering/Department of Mechanical Engineering/Department of Information Technology.
