IIIT Bhagalpur is a new institute and is continuing to develop its infrastructure, facilities, and faculty over the years. Being a new IIIT, there are a lot of challenges faced by the institute with time. The points below give a brief overview of the institute and its present conditions.

A new institute has a lot to prove to the general public regarding its quality in placement and opportunities. IIIT Bhagalpur is on its preparation for the same over the years, trying to prove itself.
IIT Guwahati is the mentor institute of IIIT Bhagalpur. Being a premier institute in the country, it is expected that IIT Guwahati will turn IIIT Bhagalpur into an institute with proper recognition and importance.
IIIT Bhagalpur receives enough funds from the government for its growth and development in infrastructure, just because of the IIIT tag. Such funds are enough for any institute to set an excellent environment and learning conditions for engineering studies.

Therefore, IIIT Bhagalpur would be a good choice for CSE, and the institute will be on the list of the top engineering colleges in India over the next few years.

They have a lack of experienced faculty members, the labs are not well maintained and during the rainy season, it floods creating a lot of problems. They lack a proper library, hostel, and internet connection. Being a small city it is heavily crowded.
