The IITs are a brand themselves. IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur are getting ranked among the top institutes in the world, and that's a very big achievement for our country. Although IIT Bhilai is a newly formed IIT, it will make its way to one of the top institutes of our country. So if you are able to secure a seat at IIT Bhilai it is better to go for it rather than choosing NIT Raipur.

NIT Raipur is also a great institute with great faculty and good placement records over the years, but my suggestion is to go for IIT Bhilai. Students at IIT Bhilai are mentored by IIT Hyderabad which has a great reputation in terms of CSE Branch.
The faculty of the CSE branch at IIT Hyderabad is great at their job and they mentor the students of IIT Bhilai. They also have their own faculty from top NITs which are better in the ranking than NIT Raipur.
So it can be a safe decision to choose IIT Bhilai for the CSE branch and as an IITian it will be also helpful in the future during placements or applying for a job at top companies.
Most of the newly constructed IITs suffer from the same problems compared to the old ones. They include lack of infrastructure, unchartered territory, etc. If you have to choose, go by branch and not by the IIT brand name. You can opt for other colleges like BITS Pilani, NIT Trichy/Warangal as they will provide much better opportunities, considering placements.

If you want to study CSE among these two top colleges, it won't require comparison. Both are doing well and have equally good placements, average packages, and campus life. So, for other branches, IIT Bhilai will be a good choice because practicals and research work are better at IIT Bhilai.
When it comes to choosing between IIT Bhilai and IIT Dharwad, there are certain factors to consider. Here are some points to keep in mind:
Faculty: One of the most important factors to consider when choosing an institute is the faculty. IIT Bhilai, although a recently established institute, boasts of some renowned and dedicated professors who are committed to providing the best education to their students.
Course curriculum: IIT Bhilai has a well-designed curriculum that is constantly updated to meet the changing needs of the industry. This ensures that students are well-prepared for their future careers.
Campus infrastructure: IIT Bhilai has state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped labs, libraries, and sports facilities.
Placements: The ultimate goal of any student is to secure a good job after completing their degree. IIT Bhilai has a good placement record, with many reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment.
Location: IIT Bhilai is located in a serene and peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This can help students focus on their studies without any distractions.
Hostel facilities: For students who need to stay on campus, hostel facilities can be an important consideration. IIT Bhilai has well-maintained hostels with all the necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for students.
Based on the above factors, if you are looking for an institute with dedicated faculty, a well-designed course curriculum, state-of-the-art infrastructure, good placement opportunities, a peaceful location, and comfortable hostel facilities, then IIT Bhilai would be a good choice for you.
Comparing 2 IITs is illogical as every IIT is unique in its own way. Because of the difference in the duration of the establishment, one might have a better alumni network than the other. The same is the case between IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bhilai. Both are excellent Engineering colleges, yet the former being the oldest IIT has a much more elaborate alumni network.
The distinguishing feature includes some eminent alumni like the CEO of Google Sundar Pichai, Jeetu from the Kota factory, Gaurav Taneja aka flying beast, Biswa, etc. IIT KGP is well known for its amazing coding culture. It has great faculty and societies that help in the holistic development of students.
If you are looking to pursue engineering from a reputed institute, you might want to consider IIT Bhilai or IIT Dharwad, rather than MNIT Jaipur for CSE. Either of these institutes would be a great choice for your higher education. Here are some reasons why you should consider IIT Bhilai:
In conclusion, IIT Bhilai is a great choice for your engineering education, providing quality education, a comprehensive academic system, a vibrant student community, and talented students.

One of my friends had an option between Mechanical at IIT Indore and CS at a new IIT. He chose Mechanical at IIT Indore. Judging by his experience it is safe to say that he made the right decision at least for 2-3 more years.
The choice is up to you if you would rather trade off on the branch or on the institution. If you are confident you can secure a good future from the limited opportunities a new IIT can offer, you should go for it.
IIT Dhanbad is one of the oldest institutions to offer a degree program in Mining. The program is nearly 90 years old and has the most experienced faculty members. IIT Bhilai on the other hand is a fairly new institute.

Therefore, based on the given institutions IIT Dhanbad for Mining is the better alternative.
There is a myth that the new IITs are not that good since it does not have a vast alumni network. Which is true to some extent. But it is not always the case.
IIT Bhilai is a prestigious college to attend. It is one of the youngest and fastest-growing third-generation IITs under the guardianship of IIT Hyderabad. It is an autonomous institute with decent academics, great faculty, and excellent placement records.
