Campus life is very good on this campus. Many events of sports, culture, and tech happening here. Anukriti, Sanskriti and Codecube, Coderush events happen here. The library is full of books, all kinds of books available here. All classroom is perfect for studies for both teachers & students.
Read Full ReviewAll rooms have fans, an almirah, a study table, and wifi. meal quality is good. After you are admitted to our college, they will give you a hostel form if you want to live in a hostel fill out the form otherwise don't. You can get PG in Kalyani. (near the college).
We have One annual fest. all textbooks are available in the library. classrooms are good with 90 students capacity and fully air-conditioned. You can get cricket and football and a swimming facility. There are many clubs in our college(GDSC, Codecubes, Freescape, and so on).
Read Full ReviewFest was conducted at the auditorium. We did the dance performance also. It was quite good. Singing and dancing, drama several contents are happening. In my college, there is a library in that Library only course-related books are there but not other content books like stories. Now we are in a private building so the classrooms are not much good but it's okay. The college in West Bengal people play football much more. So they give much more priority to football and Indoor and outdoor sports will happen kabaddi, cricket, football, etc. There is some big institution nearby like User, Kalyani University, etc. And in IIIT Kalyani there is a Gymkhana club that conducts some activities.

Classrooms have networks, Internet access, and multimedia projectors. In sports, we have cricket and swimming. We have a technical club, Music club, Art club, etc.

IIIT Guwahati is way better than IIIT Kalyani. Many of the students who were formerly enrolled in IIIT Kalyani. They left the college after analyzing the faculty, infrastructure, and hostel facilities.
My brother was in NIT Silchar before being a part of IIIT Guwahati. He went there and found out that many students were from IIIT Kalyani. Everyone has different reasons for leaving Kalyani. However, none of them were praising IIIT Kalyani.
On the other hand, they were pleased to join IIIT Guwahati. Some factors that make IIITG a better institute than IIIT Kalyani:
- Faculty to student ratio is very good
- Great infrastructure
- Good hostel and sports facilities
- Better academic syllabus as they follow their mentor institute IITG and IIITH
- Location of the institute
Hence, you can definitely go for IIITG as an institute rather than joining IIIT Kalyani. As far as the branches are concerned, CSE and ECE are totally different. But, at the end of the day, you have to decide which college you want to join. If you give more preference to the branch, you should join IIIT Kalyani but if you feel like you can slide or change your branch after the first year, you can join IIITG.
Someone else's package doesn't guarantee that you'll also bag the same package. Out of mentioned options, NIT Patna is a better option not because of the 40 lakh package. The placement package had been offered by Adobe which is said to recruit 2 ladies each offering 20 lakh packages to each. But in 2018, Adobe hired a female student offering her 40 LPA package, which can be true or even wrong information. However, you should not take admission in NIT Patna just because someone bagged a 40 Lakh package. The package will depend on your dedication during the course. It will help you easily earning a 6-8 LPA package.

While there is no doubt that NIT Patna is an old institution, yet it lacks some of the basic facilities such as hostels and open spaces. The campus is quite small as compared to other engineering colleges. So, it does not feel like a proper campus to some students as they have to spend 4 years there.
In the present time, a mega hostel is being constructed but it is outside the campus. The locality surrounding the campus is very unpleasant.The good thing is that the campus is located beside Ganga, having some modern and beautiful ghats. The management and staff are strict and less creative.
If you are considering pursuing higher education at IIIT Naya Raipur, it's important to evaluate the placement opportunities and other factors to ensure it aligns with your career goals. Here are some points to consider:
- Placement opportunities: IIIT Naya Raipur has decent placement opportunities, but it's important to note that most of the high-paying placements are outside India. While earning 30 LPA in a developed country may seem attractive, it's important to understand that the cost of living and other factors may offset the high salary. Additionally, these placements may be on a temporary basis, meaning you may have to look for a new job once the project is complete.
- Private college vs NIT: IIIT Naya Raipur is a private college, which means it may not have the same level of resources and opportunities as a national institute like NIT. NITs are well-established institutes with a strong reputation and better infrastructure, which can provide you with a better learning experience and more opportunities.
- State government focus: Chhattisgarh lacks strong infrastructure and government support for innovation and startups. The government's focus is more on providing basic necessities to the people and votes banks. Therefore, apart from campus placements, it may be challenging to find opportunities in the state.
In conclusion, while IIIT Naya Raipur may offer decent placement opportunities, it's important to evaluate other factors such as infrastructure, government support for innovation, and reputation before making a decision. Considering a national institute like NIT may be a better option for a more comprehensive learning experience and better opportunities.
Recently one of my cousins graduated from IIIT Bhopal. If you want to examine the above two options then surely I would say IIIT Bhopal is better because of certain problems IIIT Kalyani encountered in the past few months.
Even after, the major problems which IIIT Bhopal was meeting were Clubs and hostel issues. About two to three clubs of IIIT Bhopal have started playing into the role on their own and in the coming year. You can even expect more, although few clubs of MANIT also have IIIT Bhopal students.

As I already mentioned before the distance of the Hostel is an issue with the administration which is supposed to be settled in the coming future. Apparently, the classes for the students of IIIT Bhopal are occurring in NTB-MANIT. The lab facilities for IIIT students have been made available.
