IIIT Kalyani B.Tech Admission 2023

IIIT Kalyani offers a four-year B.Tech program in two specializations, namely Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The program has a total intake capacity of 118 students each year. B.Tech admissions are done on the basis of JEE Main rank followed by JoSAA counseling.

IIIT Kalyani B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Class 12 from an acknowledged board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory topics and at least 75% aggregate

IIIT Kalyani B.Tech Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates will be done through the JoSAA Counselling seat allotment process. Seats are allocated on the basis of JEE Main rank, category, choice filling, and other factors. The Institute does not make any decisions in the seat allocation process.

IIIT Kalyani B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Kalyani M.Tech Admission 2023

IIIT Kalyani offers a two-year M.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The program has a total intake of 30 students each year. The program will be conducted via live online classes and virtual labs conducted over the weekends.

IIIT Kalyani M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech./B.E. degree in CS / IT / ECE, MCA or MSc / MS in CS / IT / ECE. The candidate must have obtained at least 60% of the total on the diploma examination. The candidates from the industry, after having acquired the qualifying diploma, can enroll in the course, subject to the approval of the supervisory body.

IIIT Kalyani M.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection for M.Tech is made on the basis of the admission test conducted by the institute.

IIIT Kalyani Ph.D Admission 2023

IIIT Kalyani also offers doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in three research areas: engineering, humanities, and social sciences. Admissions to the program are based on the entrance exam followed by a personal interview conducted by the institute.

IIIT Kalyani Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

Master in Science / Engineering / Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% aggregate and GATE/ NET or bachelor in Engineering / Technology or Master in Science with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 along with GATE/NET score.

IIIT Kalyani Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of academic qualifications or marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the entrance test conducted by the institute.
GATE/NET score holders may not be required to appear for the written test.
Candidates qualified in the entrance test or candidates with GATE/NET scores will be called for a personal interview round.
Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test, interview, and academic qualifications.
Selected candidates will receive admission offer letters through email.

How to Apply for IIIT Kalyani?

BTech applicants must complete the JEE Main Application Form via the National Testing Agency (NTA) official website (www.nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and for girls INR 325.

MTech candidates must visit the official website of the institute to apply for the program. Click on “Academic” and then select “Admission” in the drop-down menu. Click on “M.Tech Admission” and download the application form.

IIIT Guwahati is way better than IIIT Kalyani. Many of the students who were formerly enrolled in IIIT Kalyani. They left the college after analyzing the faculty, infrastructure, and hostel facilities. My brother was in NIT Silchar before being a part of IIIT Guwahati. He went there and found out that many students were from IIIT Kalyani. Everyone has different reasons for leaving Kalyani. However, none of them were praising IIIT Kalyani. On the other hand, they were pleased to join IIIT Guwahati. Some factors that make IIITG a better institute than IIIT Kalyani: Faculty to student ratio is very good Great infrastructure Good hostel and sports facilities Better academic syllabus as they follow their mentor institute IITG and IIITH Location of the institute Hence, you can definitely go for IIITG as an institute rather than joining IIIT Kalyani. As far as the branches are concerned, CSE and ECE are totally different. But, at the end of the day, you have to decide which college you want to join. If you give more preference to the branch, you should join IIIT Kalyani but if you feel like you can slide or change your branch after the first year, you can join IIITG.

Someone else's package doesn't guarantee that you'll also bag the same package. Out of mentioned options, NIT Patna is a better option not because of the 40 lakh package. The placement package had been offered by Adobe which is said to recruit 2 ladies each offering 20 lakh packages to each. But in 2018, Adobe hired a female student offering her 40 LPA package, which can be true or even wrong information. However, you should not take admission in NIT Patna just because someone bagged a 40 Lakh package. The package will depend on your dedication during the course. It will help you easily earning a 6-8 LPA package. Recently one of my cousins graduated from IIIT Bhopal. If you want to examine the above two options then surely I would say IIIT Bhopal is better because of certain problems IIIT Kalyani encountered in the past few months. Even after, the major problems which IIIT Bhopal was meeting were Clubs and hostel issues. About two to three clubs of IIIT Bhopal have started playing into the role on their own and in the coming year. You can even expect more, although few clubs of MANIT also have IIIT Bhopal students. Categories IIIT Kalyani IIIT Bhopal Course Fee 7.91 lakh 6.68 lakh Placement Percentage 69% - Highest CTC 17.0 LPA 12.5-15 LPA Average CTC 6.2 LPA 6 LPA Recruiting Companies Infosys, TCS, Jio, Smartprix, Information Logitech, etc. Amazon, GEP, Saggezza, Infoedge, DRDO, etc. As I already mentioned before the distance of the Hostel is an issue with the administration which is supposed to be settled in the coming future.
