SRM University provides very good support to its students for placements. If you have done nothing much in the last four years but have worked quite hard in the CCC training, you can easily bag INR 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. More than 150 different companies visit SRM and offer to begin from INR 3 LPA - 42 LPA. There are also top 4 mass recruiters that include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. For CSE, SRM is the better option. The academics, campus life, and facilities offered are good. Major recruiting companies such as Amazon, Honda, Cognizant, etc. recruit through the campus drive. According to him, although CUSA has better students than SRM, no private companies come for recruitment at the campus for core branches. In SRM big companies come for placement. You also can sit for placement drives of companies. Some of the recruiters of SRM are L&T, Pallonji, Shapoorji, etc. You also get to face competition in SRM. If you are willing to join CUSAT core branches then you have to look out for off-campus placements or can also prepare for GATE, UPSC, or IES.

Your preference order should be SRM>Manipal>KIIT. However, you should choose one of these institutes according to your preference and requirements. SRM and Manipal are quite expensive. But these institute offers an enviable campus experience.  On an overall scale, SRM main campus will be the best choice. SRM University placements 2021 had the highest CTC of INR 35 LPA. 

One of my cousins graduated from SRM University and here are some of the things I got to know from him, regarding your question.  To be honest, I do not know how authentic this statement is, as SRM University is as local as a rural university in Uttar Pradesh or Bihar.  Out of 3000 staff members, only 6 are from IITs. Most of them are from affiliated self-financing colleges like Anna University. Some of them are from deemed universities like Satyabhama, Vels and Bharath University. Most of the teachers of their management department are from Vinayaka Mission University and Alagappa University. The physics and mathematics staff are from local colleges. The CSE department does not have good teachers, most of them graduated from SRM only. There are also no visiting faculty. Do check the official website of the college to get an elaborate view of the faculty profiles. It is a local university thus their scope and reach is limited.

Among these, Thapar is the best option.  Thapar University has a better brand value. Since the institute takes admission based on merit, the student crowd at Thapar is better.  Thapar University has a better faculty base, comparably.  It offers great academics. The curriculum followed is perfectly balanced between practical learning and theoretical concepts. The labs are fully equipped. The university has signed an MoU with Trinity College for providing a research-inspired educational experience to students.  Thapar has many societies. You can register in any of these and develop an interest in whichever stream you want. Each branch has its own students chapters. The aim of the student chapter is to help students excel in technical fields.  These factors make Thapar better than VIT and SRM. 

Choose MSIT if you want to prioritize degree value over cost. Otherwise, go with SRM. MSIT CSE placements are excellent, but if you live in a politically neutral environment with large campuses, consider SRM, Chennai. Technical societies, such as IEEE, are very active, and if you are fortunate enough to be a part of them, it is better for you in terms of placement and 'knowledge building. If you are serious about expanding your knowledge, there are a few amazing teachers as well as seniors who can assist and guide you. It is entirely up to you to make the most of the available opportunities.

My brother is from SRM, So I think I can give you some insight into the institute. I have visited VelTech and found it to be an unappealing college. And if we talk about SRM for an MBA, then definitely it is a great deal, with so many events encouraging students to broaden their horizons. Amrita Coimbatore and SRM Katangalathur are excellent institutes and are listed among the best private institutes in the country. Both the institute have certain advantages, which makes them the right choice for students of specific types. But, Amrita University is somewhat considered to be a better option among the two. According to my friend at SRM, the KTR campus of SRM is the best choice. If you consider factors like faculty, placements, and a lot more. The points below will provide you a brief overview of all the institutes stated above and the advantages of SRM over them. SRM University has three campuses, first in Kattankulathur, second in Ramapuram, and third in Vadapalani. The campus in Kattankulathur (KTR) is marked as the best among them. In SRM KTR, will make you a real engineer. It has excellent faculty, provides a lot of on-campus placement opportunities, and is also good in extra-curricular activities. The other two campuses of SRM, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani, are somewhat satisfactory, but not as good as the KTR campus. Talking about the NCR, the campus is quite far away from Delhi, which results in a lot of travel to and from Delhi on weekends. The faculty of NCR is not that good and so students have to be dependent on self-study. The placements are decent because it is held in the Chennai (KTR) campus. But, the NCR campus has much lesser fees than the Chennai campus and so, it is considered better. The Manipal University is called a happening campus, which provides excellent college life, extra-curricular activities, party culture, etc. But, students in Manipal University should be aware of the bad habits on campus and choose friends wisely for the same reason.
