CSE at SRM is the best choice when compared to NMIMS. I have a relative and a close friend who graduated from these institutes, according to the reviews here is some analysis-

SRM-

• Infrastructure- SRM has a luxurious campus with a variety of facilities, State-of-the-art labs, libraries, Wi-Fi, a knowledge center, 4000 capacity AC auditorium, 100 online smart classrooms, Hostels with premium facilities, bookstores, dining options, cafeterias, prayer halls, gym and more.
• Placement -Top salary USD 200,000 offered to NANO Researcher Mr. Shivaraman at California, USA. Nearly 100% placement of registered students at companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Siemens, and others.
• Scholarships- Fee waiver of 50% to students with above 95% in CBSE or State Board examinations. Founder's Scholarship-full waiver on tuition, books, hostels, and mess, plus a stipend of Rs.1,000 per month to top state, SRMEEE, JEE rankers.

There should be no comparison between SRM and NMIMS. Both are best but for different purposes, SRM is best for engineering and NMIMS is best for the management courses. If we talk of the better one then NMIMS Mumbai and NMIMS Bengaluru are best but only for MBA not for engineering.

If you want to join SRM then, I recommend you choose the south campus of Chennai. Don’t worry about the fees if you can afford the Modinagar campus fees then you can afford the Chennai campus fee too.
