No reservation was provided. Some % seats are reserved for women The admission process was smooth.

A Review Of SRMIST

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty are really helpful, the faculty advisor is a great teacher and leader who gives us advice as well as tell us what to do and expects us to perform well in every exam. The teachers are all great and the exams happen once a month which is unit revisions.

Remarks:

For entering into SRMIST, you have to write the entrance exam, which is known as SRMJEE. It is a challenging exam that tests your knowledge in the basics of Maths, Chemistry, Physics and General Aptitude. The application can be found on the official college website.

SRM- Good for Placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of SRM is really good and well-qualified. However, the study environment at SRM is quite hectic every month exams are taking place. However, the faculty members are very cooperative and help you to complete the syllabus on time.

Remarks:

The admission process was quite simple. The online admission test was conducted and we have to give the answers to 125 questions. Then the result was announced within 1 month and the scholarship was provided according to it.

The highest salary is around 1.4cr. After that, so many students were placed in Amazon and Microsoft and so many big tech companies above 94% of students will be placed and I will definitely take a placement and I will build my career.

The person should complete +2 in suggested boards like icse ,cbse ,state board. You can find the application in the srm website appolication fee will be around 1200 and there will be minimum two phases And you can opt for any one of them everything was fine in srm if you trying to Join a good college I will suggest srm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm interested in software development so I chose this course. This college is having enough talented faculties to control and educate the students In SRMIST, every faculty had done Ph.D. and the teaching techniques will be good. Monthly once you will have a test for every subject which includes internal for that particular semester. If focus in class it's easy to clear all exams.

Remarks:

Need to have 60% in the 10th and 60% in the 12th (cut-off ). Need to clear SRMJEE Examination. In Their Official website, we will find all details of the application form and fees. And it is easy to apply application form on their website itself.

Even from the 3rd semester, the placement and internship opportunities start but the actual opportunity comes from the 6th-semester and. 90% of the students get placement in some of the top MNCs and the rest of students go with business or entrepreneurship.

Remarks:

Eligibility in the sense there will be an entrance exam where if you cross a particular rank then you will be eligible to get admission and if you don't get into srm there is a chance of reservation quota. The Admission process was really smooth and easy. The staff was really helpful.

SRM University provides very good support to its students for placements. If you have done nothing much in the last four years but have worked quite hard in the CCC training, you can easily bag INR 6 to 7 lakhs per annum. More than 150 different companies visit SRM and offer to begin from INR 3 LPA - 42 LPA. There are also top 4 mass recruiters that include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Last year, about 5000 different offers came from these companies. There are also other companies that offer a variety of roles and you can appear for up to 3 to 4 company exams in a day. If you are good at coding with fluent knowledge of it, your chances of getting placed are quite high. You will surely do well. You should sit for the company that is worth your potential as SRM has rules regarding placements. At the end of placement season, you will have about 2 to 3 offers in hand. You can then choose which company you would like to go for.

One of my cousins graduated from SRM University and here are some of the things I got to know from him, regarding your question. To be honest, I do not know how authentic this statement is, as SRM University is as local as a rural university in Uttar Pradesh or Bihar. Out of 3000 staff members, only 6 are from IITs. Most of them are from affiliated self-financing colleges like Anna University. Some of them are from deemed universities like Satyabhama, Vels and Bharath University. Most of the teachers of their management department are from Vinayaka Mission University and Alagappa University. The physics and mathematics staff are from local colleges. The CSE department does not have good teachers, most of them graduated from SRM only. There are also no visiting faculty. Do check the official website of the college to get an elaborate view of the faculty profiles. It is a local university thus their scope and reach is limited.

According to my friend at SRM, the KTR campus of SRM is the best choice. If you consider factors like faculty, placements, and a lot more. SRM University has three campuses, first in Kattankulathur, second in Ramapuram, and third in Vadapalani. The campus in Kattankulathur (KTR) is marked as the best among them. In SRM KTR, will make you a real engineer. It has excellent faculty, provides a lot of on-campus placement opportunities, and is also good in extra-curricular activities. The other two campuses of SRM, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani, are somewhat satisfactory, but not as good as the KTR campus. Talking about the NCR, the campus is quite far away from Delhi, which results in a lot of travel to and from Delhi on weekends. The faculty of NCR is not that good and so students have to be dependent on self-study. The placements are decent because it is held in the Chennai (KTR) campus. But, the NCR campus has much lesser fees than the Chennai campus and so, it is considered better.
